Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder:
is one of the most common childhood neurobehavioral disorders. It is brain based – meaning it is not willful behavior, and has a neurologic basis for the symptoms that we observe. But while their brains may be different, studies have shown that they do continue to grow and mature as children get older. Identifying these brain differences will help recognize and validate the symptoms and struggles of children with ADHD and may help in understanding them better.
