Successful Conduct of Medical Mission in Barangay Jose Ancheta, Maddela, Quirino.

Last December 05, 2025, the MDH on Wheels: Kalusugan Seals Program, spearheaded by the Maddela District Hospital under the leadership of Chief of Hospital Dr. Ronaldo E. Sanchez, MD, together with Administrative Officer–OIC Dra. Ann Christine Almueda-Duldulao, DMD, successfully conducted a medical mission in Barangay Jose Ancheta, Municipality of Maddela, Province of Quirino.

This meaningful initiative was carried out in partnership with the Provincial Government of Quirino, under the dedicated leadership of Governor Dakila Carlo E. Cua and Congresswoman Midy N. Cua, whose unwavering commitment to public health continues to uplift and empower communities across the province.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the local leadership of Barangay Jose Ancheta, headed by Hon. Robert M. Ipan, together with the dedicated barangay officials and staff, for their full support and cooperation in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the activity. Their active involvement and warm hospitality played a vital role in effectively reaching and serving the community.

The success of this medical mission is a testament to the power of collaboration, shared purpose, and compassionate service. We are deeply grateful to our hardworking medical teams, support staff, and partner agencies who generously gave their time and expertise to make this initiative possible.

This mission reaffirms our collective dedication to making essential healthcare services more accessible to every Quirinian, particularly those in far-flung and underserved areas. As we continue this journey of service, we remain committed to promoting the health and well-being of every member of our community.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Sir Joel B. Badongen for his invaluable support during the conduct of the mission, particularly for providing the bus that greatly assisted in transporting our team to the community.

LOOK || The Department of Health – Region 2 recently held the “Workshop on the Formulation and Enhancement of Hospital Development Plans for Selected Hospitals to Support Upgrading and Levelling-Up Initiative” last December 3–5, 2025 at Las Palmas de San Jose, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

Our Maddela District Hospital team, led by Dr. Ronaldo E. Sanchez, MD (Chief of Hospital) and Dra. Ann Christine Almueda-Duldulao, DMD (Administrative Officer – OIC), proudly took part in the workshop together with MDH staff.

The event centered on developing the Hospital Development Plan (HDP) 2026–2030, a guide for improving our services, strengthening our operations, and enhancing patient care in the years ahead.

One of the key highlights for us is the upcoming Construction of the New Maddela District Hospital.
This project marks a major step toward creating a more modern and comfortable space for our patients, something that will truly elevate the quality of healthcare for Maddela and nearby communities.

With the ideas, teamwork, and direction shaped during the workshop, we’re excited for what’s ahead. The future of MDH is promising, and we’re committed to turning these plans into real improvements for everyone we serve.
