The Barangay Local Government Unit of Barangay Malandag hereby informs the public that Barangay Ordinance No. 2, Series of 2025, entitled:

“An Ordinance Institutionalizing the Barangay Malandag PuroKalusugan Program, Defining Its Structure, Functions, and Providing Appropriate Fund Thereof,” has been REVIEWED AND APPROVED by the 16th Sangguniang Bayan of Malungon during its 23rd Regular Session on December 9, 2025. The said ordinance was found to be consistent with existing laws, rules, and issuances.

This ordinance establishes a structured, community-based health program at the purok level to strengthen grassroots health promotion, expand access to primary health care, and formalize community participation, in line with the Department of Health (DOH) policies and guidelines, including the National PuroKalusugan Program.

Implementation shall be undertaken by the Barangay Local Government Unit of Malandag, with compliance to all applicable laws and posting requirements under the Local Government Code of 1991.

PART 2 || The Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Malandag, headed by Hon. Helen A. Aradanas, extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) and Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) during their Year-End Celebration held on December 19, 2025 at the Malandag People’s Gym.

In her message, she emphasized that although the BNS and BHWs serve as volunteers and do not receive regular compensation, they continue to selflessly give their time, effort, and dedication in serving the people. Their commitment, sacrifices, and unwavering service to the community are truly commendable and deeply appreciated.

The BLGU Malandag sincerely thanks all BNS and BHWs for being dependable partners in promoting the health and overall welfare of the barangay.

The Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Malandag, headed by Hon. Helen A. Aradanas, attended the 5th Foundation Anniversary Celebration of Purok 6 Akbayak , Basak, Malandag, Malungon held on December 19, 2025.

With the theme “Panaghiusa sa kalambuan ug kalinaw sa purok,” the event featured activities that promoted unity, peace, and camaraderie among residents, including basketball games, Religious Night, and the Gandang Nanay Contest.

The BLGU Malandag extends its warm congratulations to Purok 6 Akbayak Basak and continues to support initiatives that strengthen community solidarity and development.

The Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Malandag, headed by Hon. Helen A. Aradanas, attended the opening of the Pacman Fuel Station owned by Sir Emmanuel “Manny” D. Pacquiao at Purok Waling-Waling, Brgy. Malandag, Malungon, Sarangani Province on December 18, 2025.

During his message, Sir Pacquiao shared that this milestone marks only the beginning of his plans for Barangay Malandag. He also revealed his vision of developing a second-storey building that will soon house coffee shops, offices, and restaurants—projects that will help boost local development and economic opportunities in the barangay.

The BLGU Malandag expresses its gratitude for the continued support and looks forward to future partnerships that will benefit the community.

In her message, Hon. Aradanas emphasized the continuous and unwavering support of the BLGU Malandag for LSENS students, particularly through budget allotment for programs and activities. She also expressed her hope that in the coming year, the budget allocated for LSENS initiatives may be increased to further strengthen support for their needs. Hon. The BLGU Malandag, headed by Hon. Helen A. Aradanas, in coordination with Ronda Probinsya, successfully conducted the PuroKalusugan Program at Sitio Basak, Malandag on December 16, 2025, together with Hon. Roy Reiner Octavio who is also the author of the said Program.

In her message, Hon. Aradanas emphasized the importance of always taking good care of one’s health, especially among our senior citizen residents, and being cautious about the food they consume. She also expressed her gratitude to Ronda Probinsya for providing medicines and rice during the activity.

Soberano, together with Provincial DILG Representative Mr. Raymond Olivo, conducted a courtesy/quick visit today December 16,2025 at the Barangay Malandag Lupong Tagapamayapa Office.
