3rd week of October is โ€œBone and Joint Awareness Week."

The City Health Office-Health Education and Promotion Unit, in coordination with the Physical Therapy Unit, joins in the celebration. The institution aims to promote awareness and treatment of various musculoskeletal disorders.

These musculoskeletal disorders can be treated and prevented by simply moving freely, eating nutritious foods high in calcium and vitamin D, and avoiding vices such as smoking/vaping and alcohol.

With this, everyone can achieve healthy bones and joints.
