Still Fighting – Please Help Me Continue My Treatment 💜

Hi everyone, it's Kirsten again. I’m still fighting Ewing Sarcoma, and I’m now in my second cycle of chemotherapy. Recently, I had hip surgery, and I’m going through daily therapy to regain my strength.

We started selling bags to raise funds for my treatment, and we are so grateful for everyone’s support. But the journey is far from over, and I still need help to continue my chemotherapy, medications, and therapy sessions.

Ako po ay humihingi ng panalangin para sa aking anak na si Kirsten Paula Aldave na kasalukuyang nasa operating room ngayon mula pa kaninang 5:30 AM para sa kanyang bone implant. Panginoon sa Iyo po ipinagkakatuwala ko at idinadalangin ang kagalingan ng aking anak🙏. Gabayan mo po ang lahat ng mga doctor, nurses at lahat ng kasama nila sa pagsasagawa ng operation. Naniniwala po ako na kayo lamang ang tanging makapagpapagaling sa lahat ng karamdaman ng aking anak🙏🙏🙏

Update po Kay Kirsten’s Path to Healing, kasalukuyan po sya naka admit sa PGH mula pa noong August 27. For chemotherapy po sya for 5 days. Pls continue praying po para sa anak ko. Hi everyone! I’m Kirsten, and I want to share a bit about my life with you. 😊

I’m a typical 16-year-old , filled with dreams and endless possibilities. I used to spend my days enjoying school, hanging out with my friends, and doing what I love—drawing. 🎨 Whether it was digital or with pens and markers, drawing was my way of expressing myself. I have 8 close friends and loved being around them. I also have two sisters who I used share the household chores with - strangely, I miss helping clean the house and hanging out with them without the need to wear face masks. I also miss seeing my dear cat, Hanzi, and playing with her.

When cancer came knocking, my world turned upside down. Last May, I was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer. The treatments were grueling, and the hospital became my second home. I lost my appetite, and the once-familiar joy of creating art faded away. It’s been more than 3 months since I was last able to walk cause my right knee is always in pain. The isolation and uncertainty took a toll on my mental health, leading to depression, making me miss the simple pleasures of life, like seeing friends, going to school, and exploring my neighborhood.

Now, I'm fighting to reclaim my life. With your help, I can overcome this challenge and return to the things I love. Please consider contributing and sharing this page with others. Your kindness means the world to me. ❤️
