⚠️ 𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐙 ⚠️

According to the Provincial Health Office, there have been 2 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 in Capiz from 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 1 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 23, 2025. Sadly, both patients lost their lives.

👉 Rabies is a deadly disease that can be transmitted through the bite or saliva of an infected animal.
👉 Symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, hallucinations, fear of water (hydrophobia), fear of air (aerophobia), confusion, coma, and eventually death.

💉 Prevention is the key! Anti-rabies vaccines are available here at 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜.

Nagpabilin sa duha ang nabalhag nga kompirmado nga kaso sang rabies sa probinsiya sang Capiz.

Ang ini nga mga pasyente ang lunsay ginbawian naman sang kabuhi sandig sa pinakaulihi nga datos nga ginpaguha sang Provincial Health Office (PHO) pinaagi sa ila nga Provincial Weekly Notifiable Diseases Case Bulletin para sa Morbidity Week 34 nga nabalhag humalin Enero 1 tubtob Agosto 23, 2025.

Una na nga ginpahayag sang PHO nga may mga supply sang anti-rabies vaccine sa mga district hospitals sa probinsya apang pwede nga mangin limitado ini rason nga ginaganyat ang tanan nga mangin responsable kag maghalong sa mga sapat.

Mahibaluan nga nagalaton ang rabies paagi sa laway sang “infected” nga sapat nga nagaagi sa mga pilas, kagat sang sapat kag mangin ang tawo ang posible man maapektuhan.

Ang mga sintomas sang rabies ang ginalakipan sang hilanat, sakit sang ulo, masami nga pagbatyag sang kakapoy, delusyon, kahadlok sa tubig (hydrophobia) kag hangin (aerophobia), kag pagkadula sang alinto tubtub sa pagka-coma kag kamatayon.

9 ANYOS BATA, PATAY BANGUD SA RABIES; 30 KATAWO NGA NAGKAON SANG IDO,GINA-MONITOR SA SARANGANI

Ginbawian sang kabuhi ang 9 ka tuig nga bata nga lalaki matapos ginkagat sang ido sa Barangay Kihan, Sarangani Province sang Mayo 18, 2025.

Suno sa report, rabies ang ginkamatay sang bata samtang ginamonitor naman ang 30 ka tawo matapos ginkaon sang mga ini ang nagkagat nga ido.

Suno sa mga heath officials, June 9 na sang nagtuhaw ang sintomas kag didto palang ginsugid sang bata nga ini ang ginkagat sang ido sa iya bibig..

Gindala sa ospital gilayon ang bata apang gindeklarar dead on arrival.

Agud mas maintindihan, amo ni ang ginakatabo sa sulod sang lawas:

1. Ang aton lawas daw naga-eskwela kung ginahatagan sang bakuna.
2. Sa kada turok sang anti-rabies vaccine, ginatudluan ang aton immune system kun paano magpakig-away sa rabies virus. Pero indi ini dayon makatuon sa isa lang ka turok.
3. Daw pareho sa exam indi ka pwede magkuha sang test kung isa pa lang ang natun-an mo. Kinahanglan tapuson ang bilog nga leksyon (vaccine schedule) agud preparado guid ang lawas kung may matuod-tuod nga rabies virus.

💉 Sa una nga session (Day 0), nagakilala pa lang ang lawas sa virus.
💉 Sa ikaduha kag ikatatlo (Day 3 kag 7), nagasugod na siya obra sang mga "sundalo" (antibodies).
💉 Sa Day 7, may yara na sang igo nga panagang batok sa rabies.
💉 Sa katapusan (Day 28/30), ginapalig-on pa gid ang proteksyon.

Gani kung indi mo ni matapos, daw kulang ang armas sang imo lawas. Wala ini sang igo nga kusog para mag-away sa rabies kung sulod ini sa imo.
