BREAKING | CDU SLP Tops in Nov 2025 Licensure Exam

Congratulations to the Speech-Language Pathology Program for achieving a 100% passing rate in the recently-concluded SLP Licensure Examination.

PRC proclaimed CDU as the Top Performing School Nationwide with our very own alumna, Ms. Krystle Francine Ang Go, RSLP, as the overall ninth in rank.

November 2025 Speech-Language Pathologists Computer-Based Licensure Examination Results Released Immediately After The Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 130 out of 142 passed the Speech-Language Pathologists Computer-Based Licensure Examination given by the Board of Speech-Language Pathology in N. C. R., Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao and Lucena this November 2025.

The members of the Board of Speech-Language Pathology who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Maria Eusebia Catherine S. Sadicon, Chairperson; Hon. Juan Paulo D. Santuele and Hon. Ma. Rowena A. Ynion, Members.

The results were released immediately after the last day of examination.

Starting January 12, 2026, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

| CLASS SUSPENSION

In view of the forecasted major impacts of Super Typhoon “Uwan” and pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 106 issued by the Office of the President of the Philippines, Cebu Doctors’ University announces the suspension of all classes on November 10 and 11, 2025 (Monday and Tuesday). The University remains open for essential operations, including office transactions, library services, and psychological support for students and employees.

Employees who may be unable to report for work due to weather-related circumstances are advised to inform their respective office heads for proper coordination and consideration.

Academic Schedule Adjustments:
🔹 November 12 to 15 - Conduct of Asynchronous Classes
🔹 November 17 - Resumption of Face-to-Face Classes
🔹 November 20 to 21 - Continuation of Midterm Examinations

Classes should be held with utmost consideration and understanding extended to all students and faculty.

The Administration continues to monitor developments and will release further updates as needed through official University channels.

| CLASS & WORK SUSPENSION

Cebu Doctors’ University announces the suspension of face-to-face classes and work in all offices from November 3 to 5, 2025, in anticipation of the approaching Tropical Storm “Tino” and its possible eventual hit.

The University will be closed during these days and only personnel required to report in the morning of November 3 shall proceed as instructed by their respective heads.

Moreover, faculty members are advised to implement Alternative Modes of Delivery when and where feasible, while students are encouraged to monitor updates from their respective colleges and departments regarding class and make-up arrangements.

Please be further advised that Midterm Examinations for both Professional and General Education courses are postponed until such time that physical classes are permitted to resume.

This directive is in alignment with the advisory issued by the Mandaue City Government, suspending classes in all levels across public and private schools.

The Administration continues to monitor the weather situation and will provide further updates as necessary through official University channels.

| UNIVERSITY WEEK POSTPONEMENT

With deep care and compassion for the Cebu Doctors’ University community, the Administration has made the thoughtful decision to postpone the University Week celebration to the Second Semester of Academic Year 2025 - 2026. This decision, reached after careful discernment, reflects the University’s continuing commitment to the safety, well-being, and holistic development of all its members.

🔹 On the Importance of Safety
The continued occurrence and uncertainty of aftershocks present risks in holding a large event that would gather hundreds of students, employees, and guests within the University. Ensuring that every member of our community remains safe and protected remains our utmost priority.

🔹 On Academic Recovery
The recent class suspensions and disruptions have required major adjustments in instruction and scheduling. The University believes that it is most prudent to dedicate this time to academic recovery — allowing students, faculty, and departments to regain momentum and ensure that learning outcomes are fully achieved before engaging in celebrations.

🔹️ On Empathy and Solidarity
In light of the recent disaster that has affected many families across our region, including members of the CDU community who have lost loved ones or livelihoods, the University recognizes that this is a time for compassion and support rather than festivity. Choosing to forego celebration at this moment is a gesture of respect and shared humanity — a reflection of our oneness as a community that cares deeply for one another.
