Ang mga NSAID pain killers (tulad ng aspirin, mefenamic acid, diclofenac, ibuprofen, naproxen etc) ay hindi dapat ginagamit ng tuluy-tuloy at matagal. Epektibo ito para matanggal at sakit at pamamaga na dulot ng iba't ibang klase ng sakit tulad ng rayuma, headache, sakit ng ngipin, gout, dysmenorrhea at iba pa. Pero hindi ito dapat ginagamit nang pangmatagalan dahil sa panganib na pwede nitong idulot sa ating kalusugan.

Epektibo at ligtas ang mga painkillers kung gagamitin ito nang tama. Hindi ito for long-term use.
