Megan Gath and colleagues indicate that even after controlling for social background characteristics, higher levels of screen time in early childhood are longitudinally associated with poorer developmental outcomes, including language, early educational skills, and forming positive friendships. Meet Dr. Jeremiah Dimapeles Lim of FEU-NRMF, who topped the March 2021 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) with an impressive 89.67% rating.

His journey wasn’t easy. Coming from a humble family in Pagbilao, Quezon, Jeremiah’s parents—who run a small bakery—never thought they could raise a doctor. But with hard work, faith, and their unwavering support, he made it happen.

“Di nila in-expect na makakapagpaaral sila ng doktor kasi hindi nakapagtapos ng pag-aaral ang magulang ko, kaya sobrang laking bagay nito sa pamilya namin,” he shared.
