In line with the upcoming PWU Founding Anniversary Festival (March 02-06, 2026), and to support full participation in this university-wide event, faculty (full-time and part-time) are enjoined to shift face-to-face classes to asynchronous delivery via LMS for the duration of the festival week.

However, student and faculty attendance will still be monitored through daily attendance checks at the event venues. Deans, Program Chairs and HRMO are advised to make provisions for attendance checking.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Based on the latest forecast of PAGASA, Metro Manila is now under TCWS No. 1 and Typhoon is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility by tomorrow, Nov. 11, thus ONLINE SYNCHRONOUS CLASSES in PWU Taft and ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES in PWU-JASMS Campuses (Manila and QC) shall resume tomorrow, Nov. 11, 2025.

REMOTE WORK OPERATIONS shall also resume tomorrow, Nov. 11, for all PWU and PWU JASMS Campuses.

Students processing their applications and enrollment for the 2nd Trimester, SY 2025โ€“2026 may continue to do so online via www.pwu.edu.ph.

Further announcements shall be made as the situation develops.

Patriots tayo po ay magiingat lalo sa panahon na kinakaharap natin. Nakikita na natin kung gano ka delubyo ang bagyong "Uwan", kaya naman wag natin sana gawing biro at maging seryoso tayo sa mga panahong ganito.

Lagi tayong maghanda sa kahit ano mang sakuna. Dahil mas mabuti ng handa kaysa sa mawala. Pagiging kalmado at Compose pagdating sa mga ganitong pangyayare ay makakatulong sa bawat isa.

Ipagdasal din natin ang mga nasasalanta ngayon ng Bagyo. Huwag natin silang kalimutan sapagkat tayo ang nag sisilbing lakas para sakanila dahil kahit di man ka dugo, kababayan parin natin ang napipinsala.

Huwag din natin kalimutan ang mga alaga natin. Ito ay may buhay rin at parte rin sila ng pamilya. Kaya kung kayo po ay mag sisi alisan sa mga tahanan upang lumikas, isama po natin sila.

Huling paalala, hindi man naisalba o nailagtas ang mga kagamitan na mahalaga sayo, huwag kang mag alala kasi lahat ng yan kayang palitan ang mga buhay natin ay hindi.

In line with the announcement of the Local Government of Manila and Quezon City suspending classes in all levels for both public and private schools due to the expected impact of Typhoon , ONSITE CLASSES in PWU and PWU-JASMS Campuses (Manila and QC) shall shift to synchronous online on Monday, November 10, 2025.

WORK OPERATIONS shall also shift to remote work arrangements. Except for critical administrative services, all campuses will be closed.

Students processing their applications and enrollment for 2nd Term SY25-26 may continue to do so online via www.pwu.edu.ph.

Further announcements shall be made as the situation develops.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

In line with Malacaรฑangโ€™s announcement suspending classes in all levels in both public and private schools due to the expected impact of Typhoon , ONSITE and ONLINE SYNCHRONOUS CLASSES in all PWU and PWU-JASMS Campuses (Manila and QC) are suspended on November 10โ€“11, 2025.

Provided Metro Manila is no longer under signal no. 3, Faculty may only assign asynchronous activities beginning November 11, provided no deadlines will be set for the same date.

Meanwhile, WORK OPERATIONS (onsite and remote) shall be suspended tomorrow, November 10, 2025.๏ฟฝExcept for critical administrative services, all campuses will be closed.

Work operations on November 11, 2025 shall be announced later pending further updates.

Students processing their applications and enrollment for the 2nd Trimester, SY 2025โ€“2026 may continue to do so online via www.pwu.edu.ph.

Further announcements shall be made as the situation develops.
