𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐁𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐍𝐇𝐒–𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐃𝐞 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲, 𝐈𝐧𝐜.
Last December 4, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Camaya, led by SK Chairperson Hon. Mike Jose D. Delavin together with the SK Council, extended their support to MNHS-Camaya and Santa Mariana De Jesus Academy, Inc., through a meaningful act of service. This project was proposed by the Committee on Health and Environment, headed by Hon. Franzene P. Lopez and Hon. Irish B. Formentera, who continue to lead initiatives promoting environmental awareness and healthy practices among the youth.
As part of their commitment to promoting cleanliness, discipline, and responsible waste management among the youth, the council donated a trash bin to the school. This will be placed under the care of the Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) and Santa Mariana De Jesus Academy, Inc., both of which continuously guide students toward positive habits and community involvement.
Moreover, the SK Council prepared and distributed snacks for all the children present during the activity. This simple gesture added joy to the event, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere for everyone involved. The day’s activities served as a reminder that even small acts of kindness and community service can inspire greater responsibility and unity among the youth.
Through initiatives like this, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Camaya continues to strengthen its partnership with local schools and organizations while nurturing young minds to become responsible and proactive members of the community.
