• Pain & Discomfort: Gradually improves over 2–3 weeks; tenderness may last longer.
• Activity Restrictions: Avoid heavy lifting and strenuous exercise for at least 6 weeks.
• Full Recovery: Most moms feel mostly back to normal after 6–8 weeks, but everyone heals differently.

Gentle movement, proper rest, and following your doctor’s advice help speed recovery.
