⚠️ Internet safety matters — especially for kids. Recent studies show that when children spend too much time online (especially social media, endless scrolling, or unsupervised browsing), they are at greater risk of depression, anxiety, loneliness, poor sleep, and low self-esteem.
Many times online spaces amplify social comparison, cyberbullying, exposure to harmful content or strangers, or encourage isolation instead of real-life connections — all of which can hurt a child’s emotional well-being.

✅ Quick solutions every parent / caregiver can try:
• Set clear screen-time rules — like limiting social media/devices after a certain hour or capping daily internet time.
• Keep devices out of bedrooms at night — help kids get enough sleep to protect their mental health.
• Encourage hobbies outside screens — physical play, reading, chatting or playing with friends and family.
• Talk openly with your child about what they see online, who they follow, and how certain content makes them feel.
• Teach them to log off or take a break when internet use makes them feel down — real connection and self-care matter more than likes.
Let’s help our kids enjoy the internet safely and mindfully — not at the cost of their happiness or mental health. 💙
