The birth of OPEC Aurum Gems in Zasurmis Region eighteen years ago is an episode of gradual and significant transformations besetting the organization not just primarily on work related inclinations but also as a avenue for socio-economic undertakings. In retrospect, the creation of the organization was initiated by MLhuillier management solely to uplift the financial condition of the employees at the same time boosting their moral through conducive working atmosphere. Envisioning this objective, the company assisted and supported the organization in starting its financial foundation and inculcating therein financial independence. Upholding the principle of collectivism, the organization financial resources grew immensely that it serves as the resource of the members during emergency and financial needs. Transcending this purpose, OPEC AURUM GEMS slowly evolves from an economic entity to an organization that promotes social responsibility and community service. For the first three years after its creation, the organization has surpassed the management's expectations in delivering the projected results that bring about work productivity through mutual cooperation. In this regard, employees tend to freely suggest ideas that are relevant for the company's growth and progress and eventually yield strong motivations to strive hard to increase branch productions. Since employees consequently developed the confidence in getting involved in operation, efficiencies and competencies were easily attained. Through representation, OPEC AURUM GEMS contributed in some way as to decision making to the company's organizational framework and acts as a catalyst in imbibing a culture of excellence in terms of work outputs and deliverable. As a social medium, it became active representing the company in advocating its CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILTY. Community service projects like medical mission, calamity assistance and various educational programs were launched by the organization mutually funded by M LHUILLIER management. As much as the organization caters to the financial needs of the members, it also gave equal priorities that stir the social consciousness of every employee. OPEC AURUM GEMS metamorphosis is undeniably a by-product of cooperation and partnership between labor and management both envisioning a common goal of excellence, compassion, goodwill and economic prosperity. The unfailing support of the management and the selfless commitment of members to the organization are the driving force of OPEC AURUM GEMS to achieve its optimum goals and functions. Today, as the organization takes pride of the many achievements that generally manifest its common objectives it also continues to aspire for greater milestone of which every member will be proud of.
