It is an independent organization, yet it is interconnected with the SAS-YVT CONSTITUTION
Article I
SAS-AVT
The St. Andrew's School is an organization of alumni volunteers. It is a non-profit organization, therefore all funds are not from business transactions and has no intentions of gaining profits. It aims to feed the need of alumni volunteers to serve their alma mater, their fellow Andreans, and others and to be able to be of service to God and the country. Article II
Membership
It is renamed from SAS-YVT ALumni to SAS-AVT. It was renamed as such to emphasize that membership is open to ALL WILLING ALUMNI and not only graduated members of the SAS-YVT. All members are to be willing to participate in the projects of the organization, but are not required to do so. But still, all members are advised to avoid inactivity. Article III
Funds
The first project and the fundamental source of funds is the project entitled as "Php 5 per day". Members VOLUNTARILY donate the amount a day. It is not forceful collection. Members are requested to collect Php 5 a day by putting the amount in bottles which will be placed in the CIE office every end of the month. This will fund all other projects. Article IV
Officers
Elections shall be held every [academic] year (june as start). Positions and functions are as follows:
Section 1
President
The president, who should be elected at large by the members of the organization, shall exercise such powers and perform such duties incident to the office. Among others, the President shall:
1. Preside in all meetings of the officers as well as in General Assembly Meeting of the members;
2. Have the authority in the approval of disbursement and receipt of the organization fund subject for the recommending approval of the adviser;
3. Be the director for the implementation and enforcement of all the policies, rule, regulations, and the approved plans and programs of the organization;
4. Represent or choose a representative from the officers or members of the organization in all activities to which it is a party or a participant;
5. Lead in the preparation along with the appropriate officers and committees, a yearly program of activities;
6. Organize and supervise work groups among members of the organization;
7. Exercise such powers and authorities empowered to the president. Section 2
Vice President. The Vice President, who should be elected at large by the members of the organization, shall:
1. In the absence or disability of the President, perform the duties of the President;
Coordinate activities of the organization;
2. Exercise authority over all other officers and members and may prescribe duties to them with the explicit approval of the President and Adviser;
3. Perform all duties and responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned. The Secretary who should be elected at large by the members of the organization shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
1.Record and keep written minutes of the meetings in one or more books provided for the purpose;
2. Deliver all notices in accordance with these By-Laws;
3. Prepares all necessary documents for the consumption of the organization;
4. Perform all duties and responsibilities incident to the office of the Secretary and such other duties as may from time to time be assigned. Section 4
Treasurer. The Treasurer who should be elected at large by the members of the organization shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Take charge and custody of and be responsible for all the disbursement of the funds of the organization;
2. Disburse the funds of the organization only for specific purpose authorized by the organization;
3. Take charge and have custody of petty cash fund may be fixed by the organization;
4. Be responsible for keeping the financial records of the organization and the liquidation of any and all accounts and liabilities;
5.Monitor all expenditure delinquencies and send notices thereof;
6. Perform all duties incident to the office of the Treasurer and such other duties as may from time to time be assigned. Section 5
Auditor. The Auditor who shall be elected at large by the members of the organization shall have the following duties:
1. Prescribe the rules and regulations governing receipts, disbursement and accounting procedures;
2. Make a full detailed and periodic audit of all properties, funds and accounts of the organization and at the same time make appropriate suggestions and recommendations thereof;
3. Perform such duties as may from time to time be assigned. Section 6
Heads of Committees / Assistant Heads of Committees
The Heads and Assistant Heads of Committees who shall be elected at large by the members of the organization shall have the following duties:
1. Take charge of the functions of the committee assigned to them;

Terms
Officers are incumbent for one year only. They can be elected for the same position for 3 consecutive years. They take their incumbency on the last week of May. If failure of elections occur, or if no officers are present, a temporary council of 3-5 members resides as the officers and lead the organization. The council is to be appointed by the outgoing president and to be approved by the adviser. Article V
Committees
Committees are created to make functions easier to assign. Heads of Committees are tasked to lead their subordinates with their functions. Committees are created if the organization feel the need to do so. As of now, two committees exist:
Section 1
Documentation Committee
Headed by the Documentation Committee Head, this committee serves as the documentation team of the organization. They take photos and record videos of all activities of the organization and may use other forms of technology to carry on their function
Section 2
Animation Committee
Headed by the Animation Committee Head, this committee serves as the entertainment/program team of the organization. Its main purpose is to create recreational programs to entertain the beneficiaries of the organization's projects. The committee show their talents and skills to make others smile. Article VI
SAS-YVT
The SAS-AVT also functions as trainers of members of the SAS-YVT. The organization aims to develop the sense of voluntarism of student volunteers and channel this into practical means in the alma mater's outreach programs. Article VII
Projects
The SAS-AVT's primary function is to serve others. Projects are created to enact the mission. Projects are to be sustainable and long-term. The organization may create such projects as it feel the needs to do so.
