📣 Thomasian innovators at the forefront!
UST joined the 1st National IMPACT Conference and 9th TBI Summit 2025 in Bacolod City, advancing the mission to turn research into real-world impact through collaboration and innovation. 💡🇵🇭

The University of Santo Tomas (UST) strengthened its commitment to innovation and technology transfer as it participated in the 1st National IMPACT Conference and 9th Technology Business Incubator (TBI) Summit 2025, held from November 5 to 8, 2025, in Bacolod City.

Representing UST were Assoc. Prof. Michael Jorge Peralta, Asst. Prof. Noel Aban, Prof. Michael Francis Benjamin, Prof. Donald G. Manlapaz, and Prof. Ronaldo Cabauatan, who joined innovators, educators, and policymakers nationwide in advancing the country’s research and innovation ecosystem.

🌟 Celebrating Innovation That Drives Impact 🌟

We at University of Santo Tomas GRACE Hub had the opportunity to attend the 43rd Anniversary Celebration of the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) last March 17, 2025, at Sheraton Manila Hotel, Newport World Resorts, Pasay City.

As one of the initiatives supported by DOST PCHRD, we’re grateful to witness this milestone event and show our appreciation for the organization's continued efforts in strengthening health research and innovation across the country.

The celebration’s theme, "Building a Healthier & Wealthier Future: Advancing Research Utilization for Greater Impact," continues to inspire us in our mission to bridge innovation and real-world health solutions.

Prof. Agnes Llamasares-Castillo, PhD of the Department of Pharmacy and the Research Center for the Natural and Applied Sciences was named the 2024 National Research Council of the Philippines Achievement Awardee for Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Castillo's studies focus on drug delivery and natural products development.

We are especially grateful for the collaboration with the TOMASInno Center - University of Santo Tomas and the strong support from the UST Faculty of Pharmacy. 🌐 Looking Back: Exploring Collaboration with CU Enterprise 🌐

On December 3, 2024, we at UST GRACE Hub, alongside TOMASInno Center - University of Santo Tomas, engaged in a virtual meeting with CU Enterprise to discuss opportunities for collaboration in entrepreneurship, research commercialization, and start-up development. CU Enterprise, a university-affiliated holding company, works closely with Chulalongkorn University Innovation Centre (CU Innovation Hub) to support startups and spin-off companies through incubation, acceleration, and investment services.
