As we mark International Women’s Month, we would like to take the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible women who are part of the Revision Zero team.

Women play a vital role across our organisation. From our executive leadership and management team through to our engineering, modelling, production, and support functions, their contribution is visible in every part of the business. We are proud to have a strong representation of women within our workforce, including many in key leadership and decision-making roles.

The success of Revision Zero has always been built on the talent, dedication, and professionalism of our people. The women in our organisation continue to demonstrate exceptional capability, leadership, creativity, and commitment in everything they do. Their work helps drive the high standards of quality, collaboration, and innovation that our clients expect from us.

Engineering and construction industries have traditionally been male-dominated, which makes the strong presence of women at Revision Zero even more meaningful. It reflects the inclusive culture we are committed to building — one where opportunity is based on talent, effort, and leadership rather than gender.

To all the women of Revision Zero — thank you for the professionalism, insight, and energy you bring to the company every day. Your contributions strengthen our team, support our clients, and help shape the continued growth and success of Revision Zero.

Happy International Women’s Month.

The Suburban Rail Loop is a major infrastructure project in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, designed to transform the city’s public transport network by delivering a 26-kilometre orbital rail corridor connecting key suburban areas from Cheltenham to Box Hill. This underground rail line will provide high-capacity transport that bypasses the central business district, improving connectivity and reducing congestion across Melbourne’s growing suburbs. The project involves extensive tunnelling works, with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) playing a critical role in excavating the twin tunnels that will accommodate the rail system. These TBMs are specifically designed to operate in a range of ground conditions, including soft soils and groundwater-affected strata, while minimising surface disruption.

A critical component of the TBM launch is the Eye Seal System, which includes the Eye Seal Ring, Eye Seal System Bracing, and Eye Seal Support Leg. The Eye Seal Ring provides a watertight and ground-tight interface between the TBM shield and the launch shaft, preventing groundwater ingress and soil migration during TBM breakout and initial advance. The Eye Seal Bracing supports and stabilises the seal ring under the significant thrust forces and external pressures generated during launch, while the Eye Seal Support Leg provides additional vertical and lateral structural support, ensuring alignment and stability of the entire assembly. Together, these elements are essential for a safe, controlled, and stable TBM launch, supporting uninterrupted tunnelling operations.

The Project was awarded to Revision Zero on May 2025 to deliver 3D modelling services and the preparation of structural steel drawings, specifically for the TBM launch eye seal system. The scope included the detailed steel design for the Eye Seal Ring, Eye Seal Bracing, and Eye Seal Support Leg, covering approximately 101.67 tonnes of structural steel. These works ensure that the eye seal assembly is accurately detailed, structurally sound, and constructible, forming a fundamental part of the TBM launch preparation in the SRL project.

𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺

𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 is pleased to welcome a new group of talented construction modelling and BIM professionals to our growing team. We are proud to see 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 choosing to join Revision Zero, strengthening the capability and depth of our delivery team.

This growth comes at a time when the broader Australian construction sector is preparing for increased activity over the coming years.

𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲:
The Australian construction market is expected to grow by ~6.9% in 2025 to approximately AUD 193.2 billion, following strong growth in recent years.

Longer-term projections suggest average growth of ~5.6% per year from 2025–2029, expanding the market to around AUD 256 billion by 2029.

Construction output is forecast to increase by ~3.8% in real terms in 2025, supported by investment in transport, housing, and renewable energy.

𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 has identified a public infrastructure pipeline of approximately AUD 242 billion from 2024–25 through to 2028–29.

At the same time, industry bodies continue to highlight a key constraint — a shortage of experienced designers and BIM professionals required to support this pipeline of work.

Late 2025 and into 2026, Revision Zero has experienced strong growth in estimating activity following a quieter period, and we are preparing by ensuring we have the 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 in place to support our clients.

With a team of around 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀, and a strong focus on mentorship, training, care, and fair opportunity, we are proud of the culture that continues to attract quality people to our business.

We are delighted to 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 our newest team members to Revision Zero and look forward to seeing them grow, contribute, and succeed as part of our team.
