Pagod ka na bang maging tired? 😔

Marami sa atin ang laging puyat or struggling sa poor quality sleep, pero minsan, hindi natin alam kung bakit. Dito pumapasok ang importance ng Sleep Study.

Ang Sleep Study (or Polysomnography) ay isang mahalagang diagnostic procedure kung saan ino-observe at nire-record ang pagtulog mo. Mag-i-stay ka one night sa sleep lab, tapos imo-monitor nila 'yung iba't ibang functions ng body mo while you're asleep—like brain activity, eye movements, heart rate, breathing patterns, at oxygen levels.

Bakit ba ito important? Malaking tulong ito para ma-identify ang various sleep disorders, such as:

Sleep Apnea: Kung nag-i-stop ang breathing mo while sleeping.

Insomnia: Kung struggling kang makatulog or mag-stay asleep.

Narcolepsy: Isang chronic neurological condition na nagko-cause ng overwhelming daytime sleepiness (sobrang antok sa umaga).

Restless Legs Syndrome: Yung uncontrollable urge or 'di mapigilang kagustuhan na igalaw ang legs.

Once na-diagnose nang tama ang sleep disorder mo, mas madali na itong i-treat at ma-improve ang quality of life mo. Remember, ang sapat at quality sleep ay foundation ng ating overall health and well-being.

So, 'wag i-ignore ang pagtulog. Talk to your doctor agad kung may concerns ka sa sleep health mo.
