The Davao City Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC) Main proudly joins the global community in the observance of World Rabies Day, which is officially commemorated every September 28.

To heighten public awareness and strengthen community participation, our ABTC conducted an early celebration on September 19, emphasizing the importance of rabies prevention and control. This activity reaffirms our unwavering commitment to a rabies-free through responsible pet ownership,and prompt medical consultation for every bite or exposure.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the City Mayor’s Office, the BCCAD, and the City Health Office for their steadfast support and partnership in making this event a success. Their dedication greatly contributes to the continued protection of both people and animals in our community.

Together, let us move forward toward a rabies-free future because rabies is 100% preventable when education, vaccination, and collective action work as one. 🐾🌍💉

The Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC) Main, in partnership with the Department of Health and other dedicated agencies, successfully conducted the 3rd and 4th training batches last August 27-29 and September 10-12, 2025. 🐾💉

This milestone highlights our shared commitment to strengthening rabies prevention and control, ensuring that every community is equipped with the knowledge and skills to keep people and animals safe.

A big thank you to all our partners, participants, and health advocates who continue to work hand in hand for a rabies-free future. Together, we make protection and prevention a priority! ??🤝
