Kuya Enrico’s condition has worsened and he urgently needs to undergo an MRI. The earliest free schedule given at a public hospital is too long to wait given his current state. Therefore, his family has decided to transfer him to a private facility so the procedure can be done as soon as possible and he can be given the proper treatment that he needs

We are again appealing for financial assistance to help cover the immediate medical costs. Any amount will greatly help!

Si Kuya Enrico ay mahigpit na katuwang ng Kabataan Partylist Katipunan sa mga kampanya laban sa jeepney phase-out, korapsyon, at pagtaas ng presyo ng langis. Nakasama rin natin ang kanyang pamilya sa pangangampanya para sa Kabataan Partylist sa nakalipas na pambansang halalan.

Si Kuya Enrico rin ay isa sa mga tsuper na naghahatid sa NSTP classes at aktibidad ng iba pang organisasyon sa Ateneo.

This February, as we commemorate the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, let us reflect on its legacy of freedom, opportunity, and responsibility in building a just society for the Filipino people, and bring to light narratives that amplify our continuing call for a truly democratic society.

📰 What is DSKurso?

DSKurso is the official newsletter of DevSoc Ateneo, providing a platform for written and visual works that encourage issue awareness, development storytelling, and advocacy reflection. In line with the theme “Bayan at Batas,” we invite members of DevSoc and the broader Higher Education Cluster, including students, teachers, staff, and alumni, to submit narratives that stand in solidarity with the Filipino people and advocate for dignity, justice, and unity in the ongoing fight for democracy.

[LOOK] Appointment of Dr. Rosita G. Leong School of Social Sciences (RGLSOSS) Dean Czarina "Bopeep" Saloma-Akpedonu as the next Vice President for Higher Education

The RGLSOSS Sanggunian congratulates Dean Bopeep on her appointment as the next Vice President for Higher Education. We thank her for her unwavering guidance and support to the RGLSOSS Sanggunian these past years. We wish her all the best as she takes on this new role and we are confident that she will lead the University to even greater heights.

Ateneo de Manila University announces the appointment of Dr Czarina “Bopeep” Saloma-Akpedonu as Vice President for Higher Education for the term June 2026–May 2029, following confirmation by the Ateneo de Manila University Board of Trustees and the announcement made by Fr Roberto C Yap SJ.

Dr Saloma-Akpedonu, a distinguished scholar, seasoned academic leader, and a long-serving Atenean leader, professor, and sociologist, is the current Dean of the Rosita G Leong School of Social Sciences. She has previous roles as Chair of Sociology and Anthropology and Director of the Institute of Philippine Culture.

The University thanks Dr Saloma-Akpedonu for accepting this important mission and invites the community to join in prayer as she begins this new chapter of service to Ateneo. The University likewise extends its deep appreciation to Dr Maria Luz “Marlu” C Vilches for her Ignatian generosity and exemplary leadership as Vice President for Higher Education since June 2023, and for her earlier service as Vice President for the Loyola Schools from June 2016 to May 2023.
