Over the past week, our members traveled to Odiongan, Romblon to provide Prosthetic and Orthotic services to the local community in the midst of Super Typhoon Uwan.

Our deepest thanks to the Norfil Foundation for the meaningful collaboration, to the Office of the Vice Mayor for the warmest accommodations, and to our dedicated P&Os who braved the typhoon to serve.

Alamin ang DOH AO 2025-0014!

Ang Department of Health Administrative Order (DOH AO) 2025-0014 ay inaabangan ngayon ng sektor ng may kapansanan. Ito ay may kaugnayan sa pagpapatupad ng Republic Act 10754 o ang “An Act Expanding the Benefits and Privileges of Persons with Disability,” na layong palawakin ang mga benepisyo at pribilehiyo para sa mga taong may kapansanan sa buong bansa.

Mula mismo sa DOH, tatalakayin ng ating panauhin ang nilalaman, benepisyo, at implementasyon ng bagong Administrative Order.

Ang Spina Bifida ay isang medical condition kung saan hindi ganap na nabubuo ang spinal cord at gulugod ng sanggol habang nasa sinapupunan.

Sa kabila ng stigma at diskriminasyon, ang mga taong may Spina Bifida ay may kakayahan at karapatang mamuhay nang may dignidad at pagtanggap.
