Day 1: Health Awareness and Cervical Cancer Prevention
Day 1 focused on Cervical Cancer and HPV Awareness and Training, conducted by CerviQ: End Cervical Cancer Philippines Organization Inc., in partnership with LGU Marawi through the City Health Office.
The CerviQ team, led by Founder and CEO Dr. Jesus Randy “Bogs” Rivera, trained nurses, midwives, and Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) on cervical screening and HPV prevention, emphasizing the importance of early detection and vaccination.
