An inspiring day of recognition and meaningful discussion at the Clerks and Interns Assembly on September 3, 2025!

We proudly celebrated the exceptional achievements of the SLMCCM - WHQM Class of 2025. The awarding was led by Dean and Chief Academic Officer, Maria Isabel M. Atienza MD, MHPEd, along with Mr. Teddy Kingsu, SLMCCM Board of Trustees, Ms. Sheila Kingsu, Mr. Ernie Garilao, Angelo King Foundation Chairman, and Mr. Paul Jeremy Lumpias.

The assembly also featured a powerful live discussion on "Heart of the Matter - More than just an extra chromosome," hosted by Dr. Mary Joan Ledesma - Millonada. Thank you to our brilliant presenters, Medical Clerks Mar Julius H. Gomez and Louise Dominique O. Palisoc, as well as our special guests and reactors, Dr. Francis Xavier Daniel Dimalanta and Ms. Michelle Ressa - Aventejado, Executive Director of Best Buddies Philippines, for leading such a meaningful conversation.

We are happy to announce that SLMC/SLMCCM-WHQM won FIRST PLACE in the recently concluded INTERNS' (Interhospital) RADIOLOGY QUIZ BEE hosted by the Philippine Heart Center in cooperation with APMC Student Network. The winning tandem is composed of Interns JOHN MATTHEW LIM and OBBREI DE OCAMPO. They triumphed over 18 teams from APMC accredited hospitals all over the country. We also extend our congratulations and gratitude to the SLMCCM Department of Radiology Faculty headed by Dr. Nelson Pasia, coaches Drs. Bernie Laya and Pae Aldaba, and the SLMCCM Administration for their support.
