Rotary International District 3780, Quezon City Philippines, through its Rotaract Committee members, the late DG Boy Mendoza, PP Rey Olivares, Rtn. Teddy Ebarvia Sr., and PP Rico Tongcos, organized the graduates of Interact Club of Judge Juan Luna High School and children of Rotarians to form the Rotaract Club. was chartered by Rotary International. The Rotaract Club of Paraiso, Q.C. has also been one of the pioneer clubs in the Philippines. It has been a recipient of the Rotary International Regional Award for the Outstanding Rotaract Project in East Asia & the Pacific in 1995, 2000, and 2001. It is also one of the most active clubs in District 3780 and has been elevated to the Hall of Fame for receiving eleven Best Rotaract Club Awards in District 3780 in a span of 20 years. In the past two decades, the club successfully implemented projects in the Four Avenues of Service. These include free healthcare services/community outreach clinics to the indigent communities in Quezon City and rural areas; seminars on alternative food source and nutrition education, story-telling and literacy projects for children of Quezon City, career information for high school students, support activities and homestay program for the delegates of the Ship for Southeast Asia Youth Program, leadership training and professional development activities for young people, membership development, Rotaract promotion to Rotary clubs and the community, handling of effective club meetings and service projects, among others, while making the projects self-sufficient through fundraising. Rotaract Club of Paraiso has been known for the team of youth leaders they have developed all over the years. As Rotary's partners in service, Rotaract is also their best kept secret...
