UP ALCHEMES is a premier academic organization based in the University of the Philippines Diliman composed of undergraduate students of the ChE program.

University of the Philippines Academic League of Chemical Engineering Students (UP ALCHEMES) is an academic organization primarily composed of undergraduate students of the Chemical Engineering program of the University of the Philippines, Diliman. It is a non-political and non-sectarian student organization under the College of Engineering of the University, and was founded on 13 January 1999.

Sa muling pagbalik ng mga Siyentista, Inhinyero, at Estadistiko ng Bayan sa Pamantasan para sa panibagong semestre, muling dadagundong ang laksa-laksang pwersa ng mga kabataang estudyante upang ipagpatuloy ang nasimulang laban sa korapsyon at pasismo sa nagdaang taon.

Hanggang ngayon wala pa ring napapanagot na mga "big fish" sa likod ng sistematikong korapsyong nailantad sa porma ng flood control projects. Walang hirap at pikit matang ipinasa rin ng estado ang 2026 National Budget na hitik pa rin sa pork barrel at Unprogrammed Appropriations na lunsaran ng korapsyon. Binuksan din ng estado ang bagong taon sa pambobomba sa mga inosenteng Mangyan-Iraya ng Mindoro na nagdala ng takot muli sa mga kasama nating magsasaka at katutubo.

Kung kaya't bukas sa ganap na 10AM, mga Inhinyero ng Bayan lumabas ng mga silid-aralan at sumama sa First Day Fight!

From our humble beginnings to becoming a home for young professionals, 𝗨𝗣 𝗔𝗟𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗦 continues to push the boundaries of what it means to be a chemical engineering student of UP Diliman. UP ALCHEMES would like to commend its alumni for displaying excellence in their respective field of study.

We congratulate Dr. Ram Tamargo for winning "Best Oral Presentation" in the 14th International Conference on Material Science and Engineering Technology (ICMSET) held last November 21 to 24, 2025 in Osaka, Japan. Dr. Tamargo presented "Cu/Mn Oxidation Catalyst Integration into Recycled Carbon Fiber-based Filter for Diesel Soot Emission Control" on behalf of alumni Alchemists Alea Serrano, Roimela Carcer, and Katrina Cada, who completed the study as their undergraduate thesis.

We applaud Dr. Jem Perez for being conferred the UP Scientist rank under the Scientific Productivity System (SPS) of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA), a title granted to deserving scientists for a period of three years.

Ngayon araw, hindi lamang natin ginugunita ang kaarawan ni Andres Bonifacio, atin ring inaaalala ang kaniyang katapangan na humarap sa pang-aapi, sa kaniyang paninidigan para sa kalayaan, at ang kanyang wagas na pagmamahal sa bayan. Nawa ay ang araw na ito ay maging isang simbolo ng pagpapahalaga sa kasaysayan at paglaban upang matamo ang isang malayang Pilipinas.

Ipagpatuloy natin ang kanyang laban sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa, malasakit, at matapat na pagliligkod sa bayan.

UP ALCHEMES proudly congratulates and celebrates its alumni who passed the November 2025 Computer-Based Chemical Engineering Licensure Exam (ChELE)!💚

Out of 719 ChELE passers, 42 are Alchemists, with 1 placing in the Top 10.

We likewise commend our home department, the UP Diliman Department of Chemical Engineering, for achieving a 100% passing rate.

She will be serving alongside 11 esteemed professors and educators from various universities across Metro Manila.

| UP ALCHEMES, together with UPD STEM organizations, is organizing relief operations in response to the devastating impact of . Donation and volunteer channels are open.

For IN-KIND donations, we are accepting canned, good, bottled water, instant noodles, toiletries, clothes, blankets, and plastic bags for repacking.

Kindly drop them off at the College of Science Student Center between NIGS and IESM and contact Benedict Bula through 09171552743

For MONETARY donations, you may donate via GCASH, BPI, MAYA through the QR codes below.
