Meet Team LARO ✨

Not just therapists and teacher but play experts, cheerleaders, and tiny wins collectors 🎉

OT • PT • ST • SPED
different roles, one mission: turning play into progress 💛

Growing together, making play work, letting play happen!

Who knew a rope + scooter board could do THIS much? 😮

It may look like simple play… but this activity is actually working on so many important skills at once 👇

💪 Strengthening arms and shoulders
⚖️ Building core stability
🧠 Improving motor planning
🤝 Encouraging coordination
🌀 Providing sensory input
🎢 Supporting motor development through movement

All while the child is having FUN 💛

This kind of “heavy work” activity helps children feel more organized, focused, and ready to learn because when the body feels good, the brain works better ✨

At LARO, we believe that play is never just play…
👉 it’s purposeful, powerful, and packed with progress

Of course, we’ll still buy more toys.
…and we’ll enjoy every single one of them ✨

Because every toy is another chance to play, learn and grow! ⭐️

POV: It looks like kalat… but it’s actually therapy 😌✨

From rice to pasta to sponges, our sensory bins are not just for fun 💛
They help our ka-LAROs build tactile processing, improve focus, regulate emotions, and strengthen fine motor skills -one scoop, squeeze, and explore at a time 🥄

Messy hands, busy brains, meaningful play 💫

Before the sessions begin, our therapists need a little boost to ✨ match-a ✨ our ka-LARO’s energy 💚🍵

Fueling up because our ka-LAROs deserve therapists who are energized, present, and ready to play!

Sometimes the messiest moments hold the most magic. ✨

Embrace the chaos, the spills, the scattered pieces, they’re all part of your story.

🛝 “Just sliding?” …or something more? 👀✨
What looks like a simple slide is actually a BIG moment for our ka-LARO! 💛

For some children, going down the slide isn’t “just play”...
👉 it’s courage
👉 it’s trust
👉 it’s progress

At LARO, we celebrate these small wins because they lead to big breakthroughs 💫

Because play is never just play… it’s where growth begins.

Toys have arrived.. let the fun begin! 🧸💛

Our cocoon swing provides a powerful combination of vestibular (movement) and proprioceptive (deep pressure) input...two key sensory systems that help children feel calm, organized, and in control of their bodies.

When a child gently swings, spins, or rocks inside the cocoon, they are:
✨ Regulating their energy levels
✨ Improving body awareness
✨ Building balance and coordination
✨ Finding a safe space to reset

The deep, hugging pressure of the swing gives a sense of security, while the movement helps the brain process and organize sensory input.

💡 For many children, especially those with sensory needs, this isn’t just play...
👉 it’s a tool for focus, emotional regulation, and readiness to learn.

At LARO, we always aim for play with purpose, because every swing can support a skill 💛
