PABATID | Para sa mga Kailyan na nais magpakunsulta sa Quirino Province Medical Center, ang Outpatient Department (OPD) ng ating ospital ay sarado po sa Martes, December 20, 2022. Ito po ay dahil sa gaganaping QPMC General Assembly.

Lahat po ng naka-schedule sa Martes at sa mga nangangailangan ng agarang lunas ay maaring dumiretso sa Emergency Room para sa kanilang kunsultasyon.

Muling magbubukas po ang ating OPD sa Miyerkules, December 21, 2022.

QPMC celebrates WORLD AIDS Day.

In observance of World AIDS Day, this year’s theme is “End HIV, Act for Equality para sa Healthy Pilipinas",
Dr. Diwata Grace F. Bausa, DPSP ,reiterates during the health symposium last December 5, 2022 ,the importance of this annual observance which aimed at raising awareness and encouraging progress in HIV / AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) prevention, treatment, and care.

World AIDS Day is a globally commemorated healthcare event observed every year on the 1st of December.

QPMC celebrates Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

In observance of Lung Cancer Awareness Month every November, Quirino Province Medical Center through the initiative of QPMC TB DOTS Department conducted health symposium among hospital employees last November 14, 2022.

In his lecture, Dr. Erwin Manzano, Internist/Medical Officer III, QPMC TB DOTS Head, stressed the importance of encouraging and educating people to understand the importance of lung cancer signs and symptoms and get an early diagnosis and ways to prevent the disease. .

With the theme" Access to Diabetes Care ; Education to Protect Tomorrow ", QPMC celebrated World Diabetes Day last November 14, 2022.

OIC Chief of Hospital III and Diabetologist, Dra. Margaret Jean C. De Guzman , FPAFP headed the commemoration through a health symposium among hospital employees and out patients, emphasizing that there is a need to strengthen access to quality education on diabetes both for the health team and for people living with diabetes, because understanding the disease is the first step in managing Diabetes .
Dra. De Guzman encourages everyone to increase awareness about Diabetes and adopt a healthier and more disciplined lifestyle to prevent the disease.

Free Random Blood Sugar Testing among employees and outpatients was conducted in partneship with PAMET Quirino Chapter simultaneously. Participants were given with health kits, vitamins, and numerous freebies.

QPMC celebrates GLOBAL HANDWASHING DAY🙂

With the theme “Unite for Universal Hand Hygiene", the Hospital Infection Control Committee team conducted Photography Ad and Infomercial Video Contest emphasizing importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases. Hand Soaps and T shirts were distributed to selected employees.

The activity was participated by different dept/unit and winners of the said contests were announced last Monday Nov. 7, 2022.

QPMC together with Quirino Medical Society and PNA Quirino Chapter joins the celebration of the National Infection, Prevention and Control Week with the theme "Rising Above and Beyond Adversities.

The activity aims to raise awareness about the role that infection prevention plays in improving patient safety specially this pandemic.

Dra. Racheal A. Sanidad, QPMC IPCC Chairmain acknowledged the contributions of the Nursing, Administrative, Ancillary Department of QPMC in preventing infection for the past years, emphasizing that infection prevention is everyone's business.

The event was celebrated with giving of hand soap, tooth paste to patients on July 5, Film Viewing on the Prevention and Control of Infection at QPMC Out Patient Department on July 6, Health Education on Proper use of PPE, Proper Hand Hygiene among Hospital Staff and Patients on July 7 and a Quizz Bee Challenge and Photo Collage Contest on July 9.
