Maternal and child health is the foundation of strong families, healthy communities, and a better future. When mothers are supported before, during, and after pregnancy, and when children receive proper care from their earliest days, lives are transformed. Access to quality healthcare, nutrition, education, and emotional support ensures that every mother is empowered and every child has the chance to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. Investing in maternal and child health is not just about survival—it is about dignity, equity, and opportunity. Healthy mothers raise healthy children, and healthy children build a healthier world.

As part of our continued service, a two-day free ultra*ound was provided for teenage and high-risk pregnant women.

San Jose Primary Care Facility is truly grateful to the sponsors of this activity.

To our Mayor, Hon. Reggie A. Virtucio — for his unwavering support in every activity that we have conducted.

To Dra. Pinky B. Guce-Tangonan, OB-GYN — for making this promise possible, with the help of her fellow OB-GYNs.

To Dr. Benito Atienza, Pediatrician — for his continued support of health programs.

To Mary Mediatrix Medical Center — for allowing our medical professionals to use their ultra*ound machine

🌼 Empowering Mothers Through Learning and Support 🌼

Our Mothers’ Class continues to provide a safe and supportive space where women come together to learn, share experiences, and build confidence in caring for themselves and their children. Through guided discussions and practical sessions, mothers gain essential knowledge on maternal nutrition, antenatal and postnatal care, breastfeeding, infant and young child feeding, hygiene practices, child growth and development, and early danger signs.

Beyond information sharing, these classes foster peer support, encouragement, and collective learning—reminding every mother that she is not alone on her journey. By strengthening knowledge and promoting healthy practices at the household and community level, Mothers’ Classes play a vital role in improving maternal and child health outcomes and nurturing healthier families.

Empowered mothers raise healthier children, strengthen families, and build stronger communities. Together, we continue to invest in knowledge, care, and compassion—because every mother deserves support, and every child deserves the best possible start in life. 💕🤱

PIMAM Training Rollout Successfully Launched!

November 4-6, 2025

We are proud to officially roll out the PIMAM (Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition) training, marking an important step toward strengthening nutrition services and improving outcomes for vulnerable children and communities. This training equips health workers and partners with essential knowledge and practical skills to prevent, identify, and manage acute malnutrition effectively at both community and facility levels.

Through interactive sessions, practical demonstrations, and shared experiences, participants gained deeper insights into early detection, appropriate treatment protocols, community engagement, and data-driven decision-making. The commitment, enthusiasm, and active participation demonstrated throughout the training reflect a shared dedication to saving lives and building resilient health systems.

This rollout is more than a training—it is a renewed commitment to quality care, collaboration, and sustainable impact. Together, we are strengthening capacities, empowering frontline workers, and moving closer to a future where no child is left behind due to malnutrition. 💪🌱

We are on a roll!

Isang malaking karangalan para sa San Jose Primary Care Facility ang makatanggap ng mga sumusunod na pagkilala mula sa Center for Health Development (DOH) - Calabarzon:

***100% Timely FHSIS Compliance Award

***PhilPEN Risk Assessment Champion

***Top Performing Municipality – LGU Health Scorecard, Rank 2

Onward to a new chapter of public service! Mas mataas na antas ng serbisyo, mas matatag na San Jose!
