Reminder para sa may stroke patient sa bahay:
kapag malamig ang panahon, mas nagiging stiff ang arms and legs.

Pwedeng mas sumikip ang muscles, mas mabigat ang pakiramdam,
at mas nahihirapan sila gumalaw.

Pwede gawin sa bahay:
✔ warm towel sa shoulder/arm
✔ slow and gentle movements
✔ avoid biglaan na paghatak or pag-angat
✔ proper arm support lagi

📌 For safety and proper guidance,
PT sessions are done with a Doctor’s Referral or PT Program.

Kung may referral na, andito ako to guide the rehab
step-by-step — clinic man or home care.

Marami talagang nagme-message ng back pain, hip pain, or tight legs dahil sa standing work, long walks, at lamig ng panahon.

Kung ramdam mo rin yung bigat sa lower back or balakang, normal siya sa January
- pero hindi mo kailangan tiisin.

Madali natin mapagaan with the right release and movement.

Malamig ang umaga ngayon kaya normal na sumakit ang leeg, likod,
o parang naninigas ang shoulder blades.

Kapag cold weather, mas nagco-contract ang muscles at mas napapansin natin ang paninikip.

Kung mabigat pakiramdam mo pagbangon,
okay lang ‘yan — soft stretches muna, warm bath, tapos if hindi pa rin gumaan, andito ako to help release it safely.

Karaniwan ngayon ang shoulder pain o ‘subluxation discomfort’
dahil malamig at nagiging mas tense ang muscles.

Important reminder, friend:
✔ Support the arm properly
✔ Avoid pulling sa balikat pag tumatayo
✔ Use gentle movements, hindi biglaan
✔ Warm compress bago exercises
Kahit konting care daily, laki ng ginhawa kay patient.

📌 Note:
For stroke rehabilitation, Doctors’ Referral or PT Program is required
para masigurado ang safe, appropriate, at tamang therapy plan para sa pasyente.

Kung may family member kang recovering from stroke,
message mo lang ako.

Normal talaga na maging stiff ang joints,
lalo na kung may OA (Osteoarthritis)
o madalas naglalakad at nakatayo sa work.

Kung parang ang bigat ng tuhod mo today,
huwag kang mabahala —
kaya natin mapagaan gamit ang tamang release, exercises, at warm-up.

🧠 BELL’S PALSY: MGA DAPAT MALAMAN
Ang Bell’s palsy ay biglaang panghihina o pagkaparalisa ng muscles sa isang side ng mukha. Pwede itong mangyari kahit walang warning.

🔹 Common signs:
• Nakatabingi ang ngiti
• Hirap ipikit ang mata
• Bagsak ang isang side ng mukha
• Hirap ngumanga o magsalita
• Minsan may pain o paninigas sa tenga o panga

🔹 Ano ang sanhi?
Kadalasan dahil sa pamamaga ng facial nerve,
madalas related sa viral infection, stress, o mababang resistensya.

🔹 Gumagaling ba?
Maraming cases ang unti-unting gumagaling,
pero mahalaga ang tamang gabay at therapy para: • maiwasan ang paninigas ng muscles
• matulungan ang muscle control
• maiwasan ang maling galaw (synkinesis)

🔹 Paano nakakatulong ang Physical Therapy?
Bilang Physical Therapist, ang focus ay:
• gentle facial exercises
• muscle re-education
• relaxation techniques
• symmetry training
• proper guidance (hindi minamadali)

⚠️ Hindi lahat ng exercises ay pwede agad.
Kailangan maayos na assessment bago magbigay ng programa.

Yung matagal nakaupo, bigat ng bag, lamig ng office, at stress —
lahat yan nagpapasikip ng muscles.

Kung today mas stiff ang likod o leeg mo,
normal lang ‘yan.
Stretch ka muna and breathe.
Pag hindi pa rin gumaan, andito ako to help release the tightness.

Lalo na ngayong malamig, mas nagiging stiff ang kamay, balikat at legs.
Kaya mahalaga ang gentle movements, tamang positioning, at safe transfers sa bahay.

Kung gusto ng family mo mag-start ulit ngayong bagong taon, handa ako tumulong step-by-step para sa progress ni patient.

Kung paulit-ulit na yung sakit ng likod, balakang, o tuhod—
hindi mo kailangan hintayin lumala bago magpa-therapy.

Minsan isang session lang, ang laki na agad ng ginhawa lalo na ngayong malamig at tense ang mga muscles.
Reset natin nang dahan-dahan ang katawan mo.

normal lang ‘yan friend.

pag handa ka na, nandito ako para tulungan ka paluwagin yung mga muscles
na nag-tight dahil sa stress at lamig.
