UPDGO amplifies student-led advocacy for gender inclusivity!

The UP Diliman Gender Office supports the initiative of students from Miriam College Senior High School, whose research project, “Breaking Binary Boundaries: A Comprehensive Exploration of Transgender Experiences Toward Restroom Inclusivity in Educational Institutions,” aims to spark meaningful conversations on safety, visibility, and inclusion in school spaces.

They are inviting transgender participants (ages 18–26) 🏳️‍⚧️ to share their lived experiences through surveys and interviews. Your voices matter in shaping more inclusive and affirming educational environments. 💖

Noong Huwebes, isang araw ng pagmamalasakit at pag-papahalaga ang hatid ng GABAY Organization sa Tala Treatment Hub sa Caloocan! 🤗

Sa ilalim ng ating programang "Food for Health," supported by AHF Philippines nagbigay po tayo ng mainit at masustansyang hot meals sa lahat ng kliyente ng pasilidad. Nag-handog rin kami ng mga sariwang gulay at bigas bilang Nutritional Support sa ating mga kaibigang PLHIV (People Living with HIV). 🥬🥒🥕🥦

Alam nating napakahalaga ng tamang nutrisyon para sa mabilis na paggaling, pagpapatibay ng Immune System o resistensiya ng katawan, at pagpapalakas ng loob. Ang bawat sangkap ng pagkain ay simbolo ng pag-asa, kasaganahan at paalala sa makulay na buhay upang lumaban o kalakasan para sa ating sariling mithiin sa pang-araw-araw. 💪

Sa bawat masarap at masustansiyang pagkain, ipinapakita natin ang ating pagkakaisa at suporta. Sama-sama tayong lalaban at magpapalakas! 🤝

🎉 OPISYAL: GABAY LOCAL CHAPTERS, KINILALA NA SA NORZAGARAY! 🎉

Isang malaking karangalan para sa aming komunidad! Ipinagmamalaki naming ipahayag na ang GABAY Organization ay opisyal nang nagpalawak at nagtatag ng GABAY LOCAL CHAPTERS dito sa Norzagaray, Bulacan, at kinilala bilang Accredited Organization ng ating bayan!

Ang pag-accredit na ito ng Munisipalidad ng Norzagaray ay nagpapatunay sa aming katapatan at kakayahan na maglingkod sa inyo.

HIV at AIDS Program: Ang Katibayan ng Aming Akreditasyon
Ang pangunahing layunin ng aming akreditasyon ay ang pagpapalakas ng ating HIV at AIDS Program para sa mga mamamayan ng Norzagaray Bulacan.

Lokal at Kumpidensyal: Dahil mayroon na tayong official na kinikilala ng munisipalidad ng Norzagaray ang Gabay Local Chapter, mas madaling maabot ang mga serbisyong pangkalusugan, lalo na ang Libreng HIV Screening at Counseling, na isinasagawa nang may lubos na paggalang sa inyong privacy at makapag bigay ng Psycho Social Intervention sa mga PLHIV.

Aksyon Laban sa Diskriminasyon: Gagamitin namin ang pagkilalang ito upang mas matapang na isulong ang adbokasiya para sa isang Norzagaray na walang stigma at diskriminasyon laban sa mga may HIV.

Ito ay tagumpay ng bawat isa sa atin! Ang inyong pagtitiwala at suporta ang dahilan kung bakit patuloy na lumalawak ang GABAY.

FOOD for Health – Nutritional Support para sa mga PLHIV sa Caloocan! 🍎💪

Lubos kaming nagpapasalamat sa patuloy na pakikipagtulungan ng Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial and Sanitarium Hospital (sa pamamagitan ng kanilang Tala Treatment Hub) at ng AHF Philippines para sa aming Food for Health project!

Sa inyong tulong, nakapagbigay ang GABAY ng Nutritional Support sa 21 Persons Living with HIV (PLHIV) at naghain ng Hot Meals para sa mga kliyente ng Tala Treatment Hub. Ginagawa namin ito tuwing Huwebes, dalawang beses sa isang buwan, dito sa Caloocan City.

Ang inisyatibong ito ay hindi lang tungkol sa nutrisyon, kundi isa ring mahalagang pagkakataon upang makipag-usap at makinig sa mga PLHIV tungkol sa kanilang mga kuwento at journey. Ang pagkain ay pag-asa at pagmamahal!

We're excited to announce our efforts to deepen our community presence and expand our support in Caloocan City!

This week, representatives from GABAY Community Center went to Barangay 173 Caloocan to present a proposal for an enhanced HIV Program focused on Care and Support for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) within the barangay. We also had a meeting with Antonio Luna High School Faculty Teacher to discuss an upcoming HIV Awareness Campaign for their students.

These initiatives underscore a core belief: it is crucial for community-based organizations (CBOs) like GABAY to be in the community and to have a deep understanding of the health status and specific needs of its residents. By being on the ground, we can provide more accessible, relevant, and effective care and support.

Malaking pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga naging bahagi ng matagumpay na Livelihood Selling ng SINAGTAHAN Livelihood Project sa Gabay Community Center!

Kami ay nagpapasalamat sa Caritas Novaliches, sa pangunguna ni Fr. Joel Saballa, sa walang sawang suporta at pagtutulungan. Hindi rin namin makakalimutan ang pamunuan ng Cathedral of Shine and Parish of the Good Shepherd sa pagbibigay ng pwesto upang makapag-tinda kami sa loob ng simbahan.

Ang proyektong SINAGTAHAN na nagsagawa ng Fund Raising ay naglalayon na suportahan ang mga programa ng organisation na direktang makikinabang ang mga People Living with HIV, isa na dito ang GABAY Food For Health program, na nagbibigay ng nutritional support sa mga PLHIV, at pati na rin ang iba pang mga programa at serbisyo ng Gabay Community Center para sa kapakanan ng komunidad, katuwang din natin dito ang AHF Philippines.
