📍Making history at Tokyo Marathon 2026 🇵🇭

🎽 Athletics | Two New National Records were established at the Tokyo Marathon 2026 by Filipino runners on Sunday.

National Team athlete Sonny Wagdos 🇵🇭 surpassed the the previous record of 2:18:44 set by Eduardo Buenavista on February 2, 2004. He submitted a time of 2:14:37 (gross time) in the men’s marathon.

Meanwhile, Artjoy Torregosa 🇵🇭 registered a time of 2:33:48 in the women’s marathon, to break the old record of 2:43:31 set by Mary Joy Tabal on May 29, 2016.
