RTR Hospital Department of Pediatrics OPD Consultation

The Department of Pediatrics of RTR Hospital conducted a lecture on Nutrition Education and Counseling for the parents and teachers of Cabacungan Central School and the BHWs of Barangay Cabacungan, Dulag, Leyte last August 29, 2025 through the leadership of Dr. Edna Ayaso, Dr. Marie Ann Corsino and Sir Aliver Antiqueño.
This was the culminating activity after doing the Nutritional Assessment of all pupils in Cabacungan Central School last August 27, 2025.

We would like to thank and commend Hon. Mario Adonis, the brgy chairman of Cabacungan, Maam Rosalie Palaña, the school principal, and Maam Bernalyn Tupaz, the school's nutrition coordinator for their active support and participation which was vital in the success of these activities.

It is our hope that through these activities we will be able to combat malnutrition, one community at a time. 🌱

The Department of Pediatrics of RTRH extends its gratitude to the Barangay Health Workers of Brgy. Cabacungan, Dulag, Leyte, along with the educators from Cabacungan Elementary School, for participating in the Training Workshop on the Nutritional Assessment of School-Age Children and Adolescents conducted by Dr. Marie Ann Corsino and Mr. Aliver S. Antiqueño, with assistance from Dr. Eden Gobenciong and the Community Medical Clerks. This project is a partnership with RTRH Pediatrics, led by Dr. Edna Ayaso, Brgy. Chairman Mario Adonis of Barangay Cabacungan, along with the educators and Principal Ms. Rosalie Palaña of Cabacungan Elementary School. Visit our Pediatric OPD Clinic every Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm at Room 101.We also have our Adolescent Pediatric Consultation every Tuesday 8am to 4pm at Room 113.
