Morning walk with my Cael.

WHY MORNING WALK IS IMPORTANT FOR KIDS WITH USTISM WITH SPECTRUM DISORDER.

🌞 Calms the Mind: Reduces anxiety and improves mood through gentle movement and exposure to nature.

🧠 Boosts Focus: Enhances attention and readiness to learn.

🧩 Supports Sensory Regulation: Helps kids process sights, sounds, and sensations in a low-stress way.

🏃‍♂️ Builds Motor Skills: Improves balance, coordination, and physical fitness.

🔄 Creates Routine: A predictable morning activity that eases transitions.

💬 Encourages Social Skills: Offers chances for low-pressure conversation and bonding.

If you ausome kids starts running back and forth, climbing the table, chairs, and windows. You have to take them out and exercise any physical activitiesthat will release their energy.

Welcome to Our Colorful Chaos

Today marks the beginning of sharing our beautiful, messy journey as the DC family. When David (9) and Cael (5) were diagnosed with autism, I had no roadmap for what came next. But here we are, few years later, still figuring it out one sensory-friendly adventure at a time!

To the parents walking similar paths: you're not alone. To our friends and family trying to understand: thank you for being here. This is us—loud, loving, and learning to embrace the extraordinary in our everyday.

Let's navigate this adventure together! ✨
