"Better late than never in sharing this meaningful cause because the fight against to***co and v**e never stops."

The Barkada Kontra Droga โ€“ TNTS Chapter, together with the Philippine College of Chest Physicians (PCCP) and the Office of the Tagum City Vice Mayor, spearheaded the observance of the "No to To***co Day Program with" the theme โ€œNo to Vapeโ€ on August 8, 2025 at the TNTS Library.

The program underscored the united efforts of partners and stakeholders in raising awareness on the dangers of to***co use and va**ng, while encouraging the community especially the youth to embrace healthier and smoke-free lifestyles. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building a stronger and more resilient Tagumenyo society.

OMGGG | The TNTS Barkada Kontra Droga Chapter
Just released all certificates for all the participants, teachers, speakers, and to our volunteers during the No to Taboco Day.
Held at the TNTS Library| August 8, 2025.

We delayed the receiving of certificates due to the lack of signage of our beloved Principal Sir Roger A. Martinez, who was busy at that time.

During the Celebration of Araw ng Apokon! They successfully placed 1st Place during the Cheer Dance Competition!

Hindi lang talento ang ipinakita kundi sipag, disiplina, at pagkakaisa ng bawat isa. Isang malaking pasasalamat kay Jhon Mark Medida, ang aming Choreographer/Leader/ The BKD Internal Vice President, na siyang gabay at inspirasyon sa bawat galaw!

Salamat din sa Barangay Apokon at sa aming paaralan na nagbigay ng pagkakataon na maipakita ang aming galing at puso sa entablado.

During Say No to To***co Day, the Grade 12 Department delivered a powerful reminder that some choices canโ€™t be undone.
Through a moving presentation, they told the story of a young person overwhelmed by pain someone who didnโ€™t want to die but simply didnโ€™t know how to cope. When a so-called 'friend' offered a way out, it seemed like a solution. But what followed was a downward spiral: one hit, one high, one escapeโ€ฆ and then, silence.

This wasnโ€™t just a dramatic performance. It was a wake up call.
A message to every student: To***co and drugs donโ€™t heal you they hide the hurt, and sometimes, they bury you with it.

The Grade 12 students challenged us to face the truth that too many lives are lost to substances that pretend to offer peace but only bring destruction. Their message was clear:

๐Ÿ’ฌ Donโ€™t let pain lead you into darkness.
๐Ÿ’ฌ Talk to someone. Reach out. Choose to fight not with drugs, but with hope.
๐Ÿ’ฌ Because real peace doesnโ€™t come from a cigarette, a v**e, or a pill. It comes from healing, from help, and from the courage to keep going.

Thank you, Grade 12, for using your voice to make a difference. Your message is unmistakable and unforgettable: reject to***co. Say YES to life.
