The Provincial Nutrition Committee successfully conducted evaluation of Food Garden and Sanitation with Malnourished Children (EFSAN) at Barangay Batucan, Agusan del Sur last July 2, 2025 (Wednesday).

This activity was done to evaluate the household with malnourished children the access to adequate food and proper sanitation practices that creates a significant and cyclical relationship with malnutrition. Feedbacking was done after evaluation to discussed on how to improve and to more effective with this activity.

BLGU Batucan officials headed by Hon. Edwin P. Castronayor would like to extend their gratitude to the Municipal Nutrition Committee under the leadership of Hon. Pauline Marie R. Masendo and the implementing office - Nutrition Services led by MNAO Jowee Ann M. Jusay, RN and to MNC Technical Working Team for the help, effort, recommendation and suggestion to make this activity successful.

•HPN & DM Health Advocacy
•Random Blood Sugar Testing (Glucometer)
•Blood Pressure Taking
•Weighing especially Obese
•Giving of Maintenance (Amlodipine, Metformin, Gliclazide & Simvastatin)
•Zumba for All

Objectives: to help individuals and couples make informed decisions about their reproductive health and family size. This includes preventing unwanted pregnancies, reducing the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and improving overall maternal and child health.

BHS BATUCAN NATIONAL IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM

July 2, 9 & 16, 2025❤️

Objective: To reduce the Morbidity and Mortality among infants and children cause by the seven childhood disease.

NDP assigned conducted monthly routine National Immunization Program together with BHW and BNS at BHS Batucan every Wednesday of 1st and 2nd week of the month. Health education to mother emphasized during advocacy.
