Tanjay City Nutrition Council distributed 2,500 capsules to our NIRAA delegates, highlighting its strong commitment to supporting the health and well-being of our school children. This initiative provides additional nutritional supplementation alongside their daily dietary requirements, helping ensure that the students remain energized, healthy, and ready to perform at their best during the competition.

Through this effort, the council continues to emphasize the importance of proper nutrition in enhancing the physical strength, focus, and overall performance of our young athletes, while also demonstrating its unwavering support for their participation in the NIRAA meet.

We sincerely thank our City Mayor/CNC Chairman Mayor Jose "Pepe" T. Orlino and the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod for their steadfast support and for approving all our nutrition programs, projects, and activities. Their commitment and leadership play a vital role in ensuring that initiatives promoting better nutrition and overall well-being for our community, especially our children, are successfully implemented. Alam mo ba na may batas na sumusuporta saโ€™yo para maipagpatuloy ang breastfeeding kahit may trabaho?

Sa ilalim ng ๐‘๐ž๐ฉ๐ฎ๐›๐ฅ๐ข๐œ ๐€๐œ๐ญ ๐๐จ. ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ– (๐„๐ฑ๐ฉ๐š๐ง๐๐ž๐ ๐๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ž๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐€๐œ๐ญ), may karapatan ang mga working mom sa lactation breaksโ€”hindi bababa sa 40 minutes bawat 8-hour shift, at bayad ito (hindi kaltas sa sahod).

Ibig sabihin, may sapat kang oras para makapag-express sa isang araw para sa kalusugan mo at ng baby mo.

Dahil kapag may tamang oras at pasilidad, mas nagiging posible ang tuloy-tuloy na breastfeeding.

Ayon sa batas, ang mga working mom ay may karapatan na:
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Hindi bababa sa 40 minutes na lactation break para sa bawat 8-hour working period.
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Ang oras na ito ay pwedeng hatiin (halimbawa: dalawang 20-minute breaks) depende sa usapan niyo ng employer.
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Importanteng malaman na ang oras na ginamit sa lactation break ay paid work time. Ibig sabihin, bawal itong ibawas sa iyong sweldo.

Lahat ng opisina o gusali ay dapat magkaroon ng sariling Lactation Station. Hindi ito pwedeng ilagay sa loob ng banyo. Ayon sa Department of Health (DOH), dapat itong sumunod sa mga sumusunod na standards:
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Sanitary at Accessible: Malinis at madaling puntahan ng mga empleyado.
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Kumpletong Gamit: Dapat mayroong komportableng upuan, mesa, at lababo (lavatory) para sa paghuhugas ng kamay at mga gamit.
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Privacy: May kurtina o pinto na pwedeng i-lock para siguradong private ang pag-pump.
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Storage: Kung maaari, dapat may refrigerator para sa safe na pagtatago ng breastmilk.
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Electrical Outlet: Para sa mga gumagamit ng electric breast pumps.
