| The Trento Rural Health Unit (RHU) was honored with a Plaque of Appreciation during the Health Summit 2025 held at the Provincial Learning Center, Gov. D.O. Plaza Government Center, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, on October 9.

Represented by Dr. Joanny Jaspher R. Raz, the recognition was given in grateful acknowledgment of RHU Trento’s unwavering support and commitment to the implementation of the Non-Communicable Diseases Prevention and Control Program. Moreover, the RHU’s vital role in promoting health education, facilitating early detection, and providing continuous care to the community has been instrumental in reducing the burden of non-communicable diseases and raising the standards of public health service in the municipality.

LOOK | The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Trento was re-awarded for its outstanding performance during the Provincial Health Office (PHO) Program Implementation Review, with the awarding ceremony held at the Multi-purpose Evacuation Center today, September 1.

The re-awarding ceremony was led by Municipal Mayor Kristoffer G. Calvez together with Municipal Health Officer Dr. Christine Joy C. Macalagay.

RHU was honored as the Top Performing Facility in the Implementation of the Environmental Sanitation Program 2024 and the Top Performing Health Facility in FHSIS Reporting. It also achieved 100% Adolescent-Friendly Health Facility Certification.

Additionally, RHU Trento’s Health Education and Promotion Unit earned second place during the Rabies Awareness Month “AVP Posting Contest,” garnering 7.2K views, 269 likes, and 132 shares. A Plaque of Recognition was likewise awarded for the RHU’s unwavering commitment to health programs that promote a healthy, safe, and resilient Agusan del Sur.
