🌿 Community Health Outreach 2025
— Barangay Buenavista, Ubay 🌿 December 11, 2025

Two days after our outreach in PCPG, the DEDVMH–Public Health Unit continued its journey of service—this time to our valued community partner, Barangay Buenavista, Ubay, Bohol.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth by Barangay Captain Procisa Genita, Kagawad on Health Greatchin Janiola, and the dedicated Barangay Health Workers, whose support made our culminating program truly meaningful.

What made this day even more special was being joined by residents who have long been our avid clients and patients during our health services. Seeing familiar faces—people we have cared for and connected with over time—reminded us of the relationships that make our outreach programs truly worth doing.

The morning was filled with fun and engaging games, shared laughter, and small moments of joy that brought the whole barangay together. And through the kindness of our sponsors, we were once again able to share bundles of joy, bringing big smiles to families, children, and our hardworking BHWs.

As we wrapped up the day, surrounded by grateful hearts and warm community spirit, we were reminded of our purpose: To serve, to connect, and to uplift—one barangay at a time. 💙

To the entire community of Barangay Buenavista, daghang salamat. Your trust, your presence, and your partnership continue to inspire us.

✨ Annual PHU Community Outreach 2025 — A Day of Joy and Connection ✨

Every December, the DEDVMH–Public Health Unit continues a tradition rooted in compassion — visiting communities, sharing smiles, and bringing joy where it’s needed most.

On December 9, 2025, we spent a heartwarming day with the people of Barangay Butan, President Carlos P. Garcia, Bohol, celebrating togetherness, generosity, and the true spirit of public service.

From our opening program to the lively games and finally to the warm moments shared between our team and the community, the day was filled with stories that reminded us why this outreach has become an annual commitment we hold close to our hearts.

Thanks to the kindness of our partners and sponsors, we were able to bring bundles of joy and simple gifts that lit up the faces of children and families — a beautiful reminder that small acts of kindness create lasting impact.

This outreach was spearheaded by our PHU Head, Dr. Anna Marie L. Damonsong, with the steadfast support of our Medical Center Chief, Dr. Nelson A. Elle, whose leadership continues to guide our mission of service.

We sincerely thank Barangay Captain Hon. Beltran Garcia and the barangay council for welcoming us with warmth and hospitality.

As we look back at the smiles, laughter, and shared moments from this day, we are reminded of the power of community — and of our purpose: to serve, to uplift, and to bring healthcare and hope closer to every Boholano. 💙

“Health Starts with Us: Project NELSON Unites Talibon’s Frontliners for a Day of Learning”

On November 18, 2025, Talibon’s health frontliners strengthened their skills as the DEDVMH Public Health Unit, through Project NELSON, spearheaded a whole-day health lecture in Balintawak, Talibon, Bohol—equipping community workers with updated, life-saving knowledge.
