HOW IS OCULAR MIGRAINE DIAGNOSED?

Your doctor will ask about your symptoms and headache history. He or she will likely refer you to an ophthalmologist for a comprehensive eye exam with dilation to identify the cause of your visual disturbances. Your ophthalmologist may recommend neurologic testing and/or additional blood work or imaging to rule out other, more serious, causes.

HOW IS PTERYGIUM TREATED?

Treatment options include over-the-counter eye ointments or wetting drops; eyedrops that clear up redness and irritation; prescription steroid eyedrops to ease redness, itching, swelling, and pain; and surgery.

HOW TO PREVENT DRY EYES

Here are some tips on how you can prevent dry eyes:
👁 Take a break every 10 minutes from reading, watching TV, or using electronic devices.
👁 Blink often to lubricate your eyes.
👁 Protect your eyes in windy areas by wearing wraparound sunglasses.
👁 Avoid cigarette smoke, which can irritate eyes and worsen dry eye.

If your dry eyes persist, consult an ophthalmologist.
