Alopecia Areata

It is an autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the hair follicles and causes hair loss. Both genders and all ethinic and racial groups affect it equally. There is no definite cause but some believe that genetics can play a role. Hair loss is typically patchy and most commonly affected areas are scalp and face. Here are some tips which will help us with any seasonal allergies
- Always use mild hydrating soap or cleanser
- Apply any fragrance free moisturizer
- Take shower frequently
- Change bedding and pillow cover frequently
- keep windows close
- use anti- allergic for itchiness
- Use any soothing lotion for immediate relief

Heaters aren't skin friendly. They make the skin dry which cause pre- mature aging. Both cold weather and heaters causes skin sensitive which leads to dry and cracked skin.
Here are some tips which will helpful in this harsh cold season.

- Avoid sitting directly infront of the skin

- Always use a humidifier or put a bowl of water infront of heater to keep the moisture level high

- Stay hydrated - drink lots of water

-Limit the duration of bathing time and avoid hot long showers

- Eat fresh seasonal fruits

- And the most important use a good quality moisturizer so it will help to prevent the water loss from the skin
