زیر نظر کتاب آنکھوں کے امراض ، مسائلِ اور متعلقہ موضوعات پہ ایک جامع کتاب ہے جو پاکستان میرے دوست ڈاکٹر شرجیل منصوری نے ایک سال کی شدید عرق ریزی کے بعد لکھی ہے ۔
کتاب لکھنے والوں میں پاکستان کے نامور ماہرین امراض چشم شامل ہیں جن میں سے کچھ میرے اساتذہ رہ چکے ہیں ۔ میں شرجیل کا مشکور ہوں کہ اس کتاب کے ایک باب کو لکھنے کا شرف مجھے بخشا گیا۔
یہ کتاب ماہرین کے لئے نہیں بلکہ عام عوام کے لیے عام فہم اردو میں لکھی گئی ہے۔ اور تمام ایسے موضوعات کا احاطہ کیا گیا ہے جو ایک شخص کو روزمرّہ کی زندگی میں پیش آسکتے ہیں ۔ میری نظر میں یہ کتاب ہر گھر میں ہونی چاہیے تاکہ ہر شخص مستفید ہوسکے۔
مزید یہ کہ یہ کتاب ماہرین امراض چشم اپنے مریضوں کو پڑھنے کا مشورہ دے سکتے ہیں ۔ میں کم ازکم اپنے تمام مریضوں اور دوستوں کو اس کتاب کے مطالعے کا مشورہ دیتا ہوں۔ کیونکہ اسکی قیمت نہایت کم ہے اور علم کا ذخیرہ ہے جو عام مریضوں کو معتبر و مستند معلومات فراہم کرتا ہے۔

This 12 years old boy came to use with a 4 days complaint of blurred vision and occasional double vision. Examining his eyes we had a strong suspicion for a Brain Tumor. Attached are his Photos from inside the eye and MRI report. The patient underwent neurosurgery in Agha Khan University Hospital and now reportedly fine.

This thirty-year-old female presented for a 6 motnh complaint of difficulty with seeing in night and darker areas. She was seen at two facilities and diagnosed for having Vitamin A deficiency and was supplemented with Vitamin A. But no improvement was seen.
At our facility, the detailed eye examination directed our attention towards a neurological cause. An MRI brain was ordered and there was "Pituitary adenoma; a Brain Tumor" causing her symptoms.
The patient was operated at Neurosurgery facility in Islamabad.
Now the patient is fine and happy
