Mr. Haseeb Ahmad is a distinguished biotech entrepreneur, technology strategist, and innovation leader serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of BioPrintX Pvt. Ltd. With advanced academic training in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology from Comsats University Islamabad, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective that integrates life sciences, data intelligence, and digital systems architecture to drive biotechnology commercialization and regenerative medicine innovation.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Haseeb has maintained strong affiliations with leading academic, governmental, and policy institutions. He serves as Executive Director of Jaamiah, an Higher Education Commission, Pakistan funded socio-entrepreneurial EdTech initiative incubated at COMSATS University Islamabad and endorsed by COMSTECH (OIC), where he has established strategic collaborations with institutions including the University of Bolton International, IDP Education Pakistan, Malala Fund, and Zindagi Trust. He has also served as Lecturer and Data Manager at the Health Services Academy, Islamabad, contributing to national-level PSDP-funded health human resource projects and introducing the Healthcare Data Analysis & Management (HDAM) certification program.

His professional engagements further include his tenure at the Pakistan Council for Science & Technology (PCST), where he contributed to major national initiatives such as the First Industrial Innovation Survey, the Need Assessment of Highly Qualified S&T Human Resource, the Research Productivity Award, and the Productive Scientists of Pakistan Index. He has supported policy development efforts including the National Startup Policy and Industry–Academia Linkage Framework. Additionally, he has served as a Grant Reviewer for the Higher Education Commission’s Technology Development Fund, a Member of the Expert Committee on Technology Foresight at PCST, an IEEE Young Professional Member, and was recognized as a Finalist for the Acumen Fellowship.

Technically proficient in data strategy, cloud systems, server administration, and large-scale dashboard development, Mr. Haseeb has led the design of national repositories, analytical platforms, and digital infrastructures supporting science, technology, and education sectors. At BioPrintX, he leads corporate strategy, digital innovation, commercialization planning, and institutional partnerships. His leadership is focused on transforming advanced biomaterials and regenerative medicine research into scalable, regulatory-aligned healthcare solutions, while strengthening Pakistan’s bioeconomy and innovation ecosystem through structured academia–industry collaboration.

BioprintX Private Limited recently welcomed the ISO audit team to its facility at Department of Biological & Health Sciences, Pak Austria Fachhochschule as part of the ongoing certification evaluation process. The visit included a comprehensive tour of our laboratories and facilities, detailed reviews of our products and workflows, and technical discussions with the BioPrintX team to assess our systems and operational readiness.

During the visit, Dr. Fazli Wahid, Fulbright Fellow (USA) and Founder of BioPrintX, formally presented the project, sharing the vision, research scope, and progress in bioprinting and medical technologies. The auditors engaged with the team and observed our development processes, documentation practices, and quality-driven culture.

Ms. Shazma Yousaf is a Senior Researcher at BioprintX Pvt. Ltd. and a Directorate General of Science & Technology DGST-funded PhD Scholar at Department of Biological & Health Sciences Pak Austria Fachhochschule whose work lies at the forefront of 3D bioprinting, artificial skin development, and regenerative wound-care technologies. With a strong academic background in Biotechnology (MS) and Zoology (BS), she represents a new generation of scientists translating laboratory innovation into clinically relevant biomedical solutions.

Currently, Ms. Shazma is actively contributing to the national flagship R&D initiative titled:
“Development of Artificial Skin and Tissue Substitutes Based on 3D Bio-Printed Advanced Materials.”

We are pleased to highlight Saba Iftikhar, a Senior Researcher at BioPrintX and PhD Scholar in Biotechnology Department of Biological & Health Sciences Pak Austria Fachhochschule , contributing to Pakistan’s advancing capabilities in artificial skin, 3D bioprinting, and bio-cellulose–based wound healing technologies.

Saba is an active Research Associate on the Directorate General of Science & Technology DGST-funded flagship project, “Development of Artificial Skin Tissue Substitutes Based on 3D Bioprinted Advanced Materials.” Her work integrates biomaterial engineering, bio-ink formulation, and natural extract–based therapeutics to develop affordable, effective, and clinically relevant wound-healing solutions.
