ینگ فارماسسٹ کمیونٹی پاکستان، Bacha Khan University کی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے فارمیسی کے طلباء کے یونیورسٹی سے اخراج اور انہیں ہاسٹل خالی کرنے کے حکم کی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کرتی ہے۔ یہ اقدام ایسے وقت میں کیا گیا جب متعلقہ طلباء جامعہ میں تدریسی معیار، لیبارٹری سہولیات کی کمی اور Pharmacy Council of Pakistan سے باقاعدہ منظوری کے حصول جیسے جائز تعلیمی مسائل پر پرامن انداز میں آواز اٹھا رہے تھے۔

انتظامیہ کی جانب سے مسائل کے حل کے بجائے طلباء کے خلاف اس نوعیت کی سخت کارروائی انتہائی افسوسناک اور قابلِ تشویش ہے۔ بالخصوص ماہِ رمضان المبارک میں طلباء کو ہاسٹل خالی کرنے کا حکم دینا نہ صرف غیر منصفانہ بلکہ غیر انسانی طرزِ عمل کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ فارمیسی کے طلباء کا معیاری تعلیم، مناسب سہولیات اور پیشہ ورانہ منظوری کے لیے آواز بلند کرنا ان کا بنیادی اور آئینی حق ہے، جسے دبانے کی ہر کوشش قابلِ مذمت ہے۔

ینگ فارماسسٹ کمیونٹی پاکستان واضح کرتی ہے کہ اس طرح کے اقدامات تعلیمی ماحول کو نقصان پہنچاتے ہیں اور طلباء میں خوف و ہراس پیدا کرتے ہیں۔ ہم متعلقہ حکام سے پرزور مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ فارمیسی کے طلباء کے اخراج کے احکامات فوری طور پر واپس لیے جائیں، ہاسٹل خالی کرنے کا حکم منسوخ کیا جائے اور جامعہ میں تدریسی و لیبارٹری سہولیات کو فوری طور پر بہتر بنایا جائے تاکہ Pharmacy Council of Pakistan کے تقاضوں کے مطابق منظوری کا عمل یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔

ینگ فارماسسٹ کمیونٹی پاکستان یہ بھی واضح کرتی ہے کہ پوری خیبر پختونخوا کے فارمیسی طلباء اس معاملے پر متحد ہیں۔ اگر اس غیر قانونی اور ظالمانہ اقدام کو فوری طور پر واپس نہ لیا گیا تو ینگ فارماسسٹ کمیونٹی پاکستان اور صوبہ بھر کے فارمیسی طلباء مشترکہ طور پر طلباء کے حقوق کے تحفظ کے لیے ہر ممکن قانونی اور آئینی راستہ اختیار کریں گے۔

Together, we stepped forward against Antimicrobial Resistance – one stride, one voice, one vision!

YPC-AUST organized an Anti-microbial Resistance awareness walk in collaboration with PharmaHub Student Society. Today, our world is on the brink of facing risks from antibiotic misuse rather than benefits. The custodians of drugs have attempted to raise awareness about antimicrobial resistance through seminars and various activities. However, this time, YPC Aust tried something different. Our walk was also joined by lecturers from the Pharmacy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, MLT, and Microbiology departments. The walk started from Aust's main gate and ended in Quaid-e-Azam Block. The participants of the Awareness walk were briefed by Dr. Khalid Mehmood about the issue of antimicrobial resistance. Overall, it was a great experience, and we are looking forward to positive outcomes.
