YPC AUST, in collaboration with PharmaHub – Pharmacy Student Society, proudly organized the AMR Awareness Walk, followed by a powerful closing lecture by Dr. Khalid Mehmood, Chairman, Department of Pharmacy.
Together, we stepped forward against Antimicrobial Resistance – one stride, one voice, one vision!

YPC-AUST organized an Anti-microbial Resistance awareness walk in collaboration with PharmaHub Student Society. Today, our world is on the brink of facing risks from antibiotic misuse rather than benefits. The custodians of drugs have attempted to raise awareness about antimicrobial resistance through seminars and various activities. However, this time, YPC Aust tried something different. Our walk was also joined by lecturers from the Pharmacy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, MLT, and Microbiology departments. The walk started from Aust's main gate and ended in Quaid-e-Azam Block. The participants of the Awareness walk were briefed by Dr. Khalid Mehmood about the issue of antimicrobial resistance. Overall, it was a great experience, and we are looking forward to positive outcomes.

YPC AUST organized a card distribution ceremony in the pharmacy department. On this special occasion, the ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Abdul Aleem Awan. Mr. Abdul Aleem Awan congratulates every member and encourages them to excel in the pharmacy field and contribute to health. YPC AUST continues the tradition of recognizing its volunteers. During this ceremony, our plans for the upcoming session were also discussed.
The different goals of various teams may vary, but the overall objective of YPC AUST is to contribute to the service of health.

We cordially invite everyone to be part of this important campaign raising awareness about the issue of Antibiotic Resistance. The young pharmacist community urges society to be free of antibiotic resistance. The custodians of drugs want to benefit you by promoting the proper use of medication rather than letting it harm you.
