This is such a common (and normal!) phenomenon that occurs after baby is born!!!

Shivering most often happens one to two hours after you deliver your baby, although it can occur toward the end of labor too. This shivering is thought to be related to a few things: a hormonal shift immediately postpartum and the sheer adrenaline of having just birthed a baby!

Covering up with a warm blanket will definitely help, but it often will pass after few minutes.
