Task
Sorting Pom Pom balls using different paths and different colors
Worked on compliance, attention span, rote counting , sorting balls with respect to colors receptively in a fun and emgaging way. During the activity, Every kid was made sure to wait & sit patiently for their turns and enjoy the fellow's activity.

Observation – Noise Sensitivity and Regulation

The video demonstrates a child with autism reacting sensitively to loud or unpredictable noises in the environment. Upon using noise-cancelling headphones, the child gradually relaxes, showing improved comfort and calmness. This highlights the effectiveness of sensory supports in managing environmental sensitivities.

Activity Report – Erasing Dots Task

The activity involved erasing dots with a finger according to the numbered sequence. It targeted attention and concentration, focus development, hand–eye coordination, and fine motor skills. Engagement was good, and the sequence was followed with accuracy.

Community Outing – Punjab Cash & Carry
Date: 06-11-2025
The child was taken to Punjab Cash & Carry to practice community participation and independent living skills.
The child practiced walking safely and staying with the adult during shopping.
Opportunities were provided for the child to identify items and place them in the basket/trolley.
The therapist introduced money management concepts such as:
Recognizing price tags
Understanding the value of money
Selecting items within a set budget (small amount)
Handing money to the cashier during checkout
The child was encouraged to request preferred items.
The therapist reinforced waiting, turn-taking, and calm behavior in a public environment.
Prompts were used when needed and faded gradually to promote independence.
The child showed good participation and remained engaged throughout the outing.
Benefits of Introducing Money Management
Helps the child learn functional life skills needed for daily living.
Builds understanding of numbers, value, and exchange.
Increases confidence in real-world environments.
Encourages independent decision-making.
Reduces future dependency on others for shopping and handling money.

Activity Report – Sticky Ball Cup Game

Muzammil played the Sticky Ball Cup Game, trying to catch the ball inside the cup while tracking its movement. The activity targeted hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, grip control, attention and focus, bilateral integration, and visual-motor integration. He remained engaged, followed instructions well, and showed improvement in timing and coordination with minimal prompts.
