Addressing the World Menopause Day
2025 event at the Margala Hotel in Islamabad, which was organized by the Pakistan Menopause Society (PMS) in partnership with South Asian Federation of Menopause Society (SAFOMS) and OBS Pharma.
The event, themed "Menopause Matters: Listening, Understanding, and Supporting," brought together passionate clinicians and educators dedicated to advancing midlife women's health.
I had the pleasure of discussing menopausal hormonal therapy and transdermal HRT, emphasizing the importance of individualized care and updated evidence from The Menopause Society (2023) and IMS
2024) guidelines that support the safe, effective use of modern HRT.
Grateful to my fellow speakers and panelists for their insightful contributions and to all participants onsite and online for making the discussion so interactive and impactful.
