Today, Miss Shaheen, the President of the Young Nurses Association (YNA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), along with her dedicated team, had the honor of meeting the esteemed Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Faisal Kareem Kundi. During this crucial meeting, various pressing issues faced by nurses in the region were discussed in detail.
The team highlighted the challenges nurses face in the healthcare sector, such as inadequate facilities, limited career advancement opportunities, and issues regarding their working conditions. They also brought attention to the shortage of staff, workload concerns, and the need for better pay and recognition of their vital contributions to the healthcare system.
Governor Mr. Faisal Kareem Kundi expressed his full support and assured the nursing community that he would address these concerns promptly and effectively, to the best of his ability. He emphasized that he understands the importance of nurses as the backbone of the healthcare system and their significant role in saving lives and improving public health. The Governor assured that he would take all necessary actions to resolve these issues at the earliest possible.
