After 40 years of service as an Orthodox priest, David Gould, now known as Abdul Rahman, converted to Islam.
His journey began during a visit to Perth for a family funeral, where he felt compelled to visit a nearby mosque. There, he received a Quran and prayed for guidance on spiritual truth.
Gould later declared his faith in a letter to his bishop and took the shahada. He recently performed Umrah, marking a significant step in his new faith journey
