A bit more details about my work and interests:
AslamuAlaikum all, I'm Muhammad Usman Javed, born and raised in Pakistan, I now live in Rawalpindi and work in the vibrant city Islamabad in a well-equipped Tertiary Care Hospital as Consultant Cardiologist, pursuing career in Interventional Cardiology as it can provide me with the intellectual stimulation I desire in a career as well as the personal satisfaction of having a profound impact on the lives of others. I graduated in 2013 and have been working full-time as a health care professional ever since. One of the things I love most about my job is the people that I get to meet and the opportunity to do something for them as it provides great personal satisfaction by improving their quality of life with my knowledge. In the course of my day-to-day routine, I have met some people to whom my heart gravitates, just for the beauty of the person that they are. In my personal life, I enjoy workouts, traveling, reading books, and writing blog. I grew up loving art and design, pursuing this hobby throughout school into University. Future is really something which can’t be defined and bounded in any boundaries. Yes I have some plans and goals that I have decided for me but its better to keep them a secret for now. Let’s see where life takes me? Yes whatever I shall be doing, I guarantee you that it will be with full passion and dedication. My Approach:

I’m able to tackle new briefs constructively; identifying what is required from me quickly and remain focused and organized throughout a task of providing health care to people. I enjoy keeping up-to-date with new guidelines and technologies through health magazines, blogs and attending conferences & expo’s.

🫀 Diastolic RV Collapse in Cardiac Tamponade

Definition: Diastolic collapse of the right ventricle (RV) occurs when pericardial pressure exceeds RV diastolic pressure, causing inward bowing of the RV free wall during early diastole.

Mechanism: 🩸 The pericardial fluid under pressure compresses the thinner RV wall first, especially in early diastole when its pressure is lowest.

Echocardiographic Finding: Seen on 2D echo or M-mode as inward motion/collapse of the RV free wall during diastole (typically after the T wave).

Clinical Significance: Highly specific for cardiac tamponade; its presence strongly supports the diagnosis.

Sensitivity & Specificity:

Sensitivity: ~60–90% 📈

Specificity: ~85–100% ✅

Key Point: Absence doesn’t exclude tamponade (especially if RV pressure is high, e.g., pulmonary hypertension), but presence is a reliable sign of hemodynamic compromise.

Would you like me to add a diagram or echo clip description to help visualize this finding?
