✨ Exploring the Magic of Chocolate! BASES Islamabad D-12 Branch Visit

To celebrate Children's Day, our students from the BASES (Behaviour and Special Educational Services) Islamabad D-12 branch embarked on a delightful and educational trip to the Chocolate Factory!

This outing was a wonderful opportunity to integrate fun, sensory exploration, and real-world experience into our curriculum. Watching our children engage with the process, from bean to bar, and seeing their faces light up with every step was truly rewarding.

At BASES, we are committed to providing holistic and enriching experiences that support both behavioral development and special educational needs in a joyous setting.

For many children we support, stimming—whether it's flapping, humming, rocking, or tapping—is the crucial link between their internal experience and their ability to function in the external world. It is their body's sophisticated, non-verbal strategy for sensory and emotional self-regulation.

This behavior is essential for:

Grounding during high anxiety.
Focusing attention.
Processing intense sensory input.

Our commitment at BASES is to shift the response from suppression ("Stop that") to compassionate accommodation ("I see you; how can we support your body right now?").
